I pulled the trigger on the Cobra Mk V Stellar. What a ship!

Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen,

I could not resist, bought more Arx, and decided to nab the Cobra Mk V Stellar.

I'm a belt-and-suspenders kind of guy, so excellent armour, decent shields, and the ability to dissipate heat well are a must.

I have finished outfitting the bird. Class 5 bi-weave (reinforced/fast charge), 4 shield boosters (3 A, 1 E -- the 3 As are one heavy duty, one thermal, one resistance, with the E heavy duty. 796 shields with decent resistance across the board. None too shabby!), 3 class 4 cargo modules, class 3 fuel scoop (I always mount a fuel scoop -- trauma from when I started out with my first account. Don't ask. :D ), some hull reinforcements, reactive armour . . . power plant is armoured w. monstered, for good measure.

Despite all this weight, it's still an extremely zippy little bu-- (notices Mods approaching with rubber batons and meaningful expressions) ah, BUSTER, yes, that's what I meant. Goes well over 570 when boosting, which is amazing, given all the heavy components I crammed into it. It's going to serve as a little transport that can actually fight back.

It carries an Imperial Hammer (high capacity, feedback cascade), small beam (efficient, TV), small MC (high capacity, corrosive), 2 medium MCs (efficient, incendiary (efficient to lower the overall power consumption)). Good enough punch, IMO. It's meant for PVE, anyway, though I imagine with its speed, it should be able to get away from most opponents in Open . . .

Seriously, this ship handles like a dream. Incredible manouevrability, excellent boost . . . almost TOO nimble for me. I'm too used to flying my corvette, so I'm going to need some practice.

What I'm trying to say is, you cannot go wrong with this bird.

Enjoy, Commanders. :)
