Well, that was... different. I definitely heard some sounds that were not there before at the previous explosions when the detonation happened, but if there was any audio to the Titan's sounds before the boom, I'll have to see someone else's footage for it because the game thought I was "too far" for anything except the sound which occurred on final explosion.

I was inside and the blast wave shunted me outside...to the tune of 400 km away by the time I slowed down to the point where I regained control. I tried going back in and almost got eaten alive by the high-intensity caustic cloud - doing more damage and extending past the mass lock. I quickly plotted a route and jumped out.

Not played for a long time but I was around for the first Thargoids when they showed up. Thought I should turn up for the last one. Ship thrown around, approached too close and hull dissolved and then back to Barnards Star for breakfast.

That was much better in (VR) person than watching it via YouTube - though I had to be careful not to rotate my head lest the sprite-based effects spoil the proceedings 😅- and I'd like to give a big thank you to all the programmers, artists, sound bods, & other folk who brought Cocky Joe to us 👍

Well, I for one was left with a "large number of crickets"-y sound loop, which was different than the usual "cricket's"-y sound loop that occurs when the passive scan sound glitches. It did not reappear when I went away and returned.

If this was not just a glitch, after all, I suppose somebody will tell soon, whether this was the same noise as recently around previous Titan hulks, or a new one... :7

Galnet on the case:

From the linked article
Galnet said:
Refugees numbering in the billions remain homeless, still living in temporary shelters assigned by Rescue Megaship processing teams. Many of these refugees are reluctant to return to their home systems and are looking for new opportunities among the stars.
Colonisation anyone ...

yeah this was only my 4th Titan ever and only my 2nd Titan boomboom explosion blastaway experience , but things def. seemed MORE unique this time ( i think? ) .

Unfortunately i only managed to grab 3 screenshots here.... First, the RED blast:
