Unplayable

I log in. I am sitting at the nav point beside Shinrarta Dezhra because this is where my game crashed weeks ago trying to come out of Hyper.

I plot my course to Jameson Memorial. I go into super cruise and "ride the 6" until I reach the station and get the pop up that its safe to drop out.

The supercruise animation doesn't stop and I stay "flying" unitl my screen blacks out to one of many random error codes ( Gold Cobra / Teal Cobra / Taupe Cobra ...).

I log back in ... I am sitting at the nav point beside Shinrarta Dezhra.


I love this game. I have put a disturbingly high amount of hours into this game. Nothing has changed on my end. I am playing on a Series X, my NAT is open, my connection is wired to a 1GB mbps modem. I have no problems with any other game. This is not a problem on my end.

From reading other posts, I am not the only one dealing with this. What is going on?

if the ferengi were running fd they would lower the bandwidth per player slot around x-mas and raise it for odyssey owners
the logic being when you see how happy they are you will follow suite

but i think its just lame periodic peer to peer servers in general that fluctuate from bad to just plain

You are having same problem I had for a long time. If I were you and I was trying to get to Shin Dez I would fly right away in super cruise to station then fly around close to station without dropping for about 3-5 min then try a drop you will get error code and have to restart but when you respawn you should be near the station. Then quickly fly right to station and try a drop. Usually worked for me. Works for planetary landings and system jumps as well. At least it did for me. Good luck.
