Discarding Cloned Profiles

Is there a way to discard a cloned security profile so when a guard scans you, that you're "clean" again. I could've sworn the tutorial, or something I read here, said you could purge a cloned profile to prevent being caught.

Iirc, you should be able to discard it via that menu by pressing ALT and then move your mouse down...

Thanks. The tooltip came up on one of the loading screens yesterday after I posted this. I've successfully tested it. Fun. Clone, inflitrate, shutdown alarms and other features, purge identity, walk past guards.

cmdrs should also note it is possible to bind to a key. The control is called "clear authority level".
This is very useful if about to be scanned as it can be a bit slow to use the item wheel.

Yeah i bound it to backspace, best bound to a key so you can do it instantly if targetted for a scan

So if your scanned with a cloned profile then then your busted what good is a cloned profile if your not mistaken for who the clone is. Crazy. The guard hand held is smarter than the facilities authorization scanners? ha ha. Illogical game play is the meta for this game.
