The Thargoids go quietly into the night

This brings me to the question: Why do Thargoids care about a 1326 years old computer game from Sol that made it to its 40'th anniversary? Do they really want to start socializing and begin with talking about a recent human thing? – We must consider that Thargs are much older than even the Guardians. So, for them, 1326 years is close to nothing and a space faring game might be a good connection to another space faring species???

Orion's Loop is around 1,000ly away so could be they came to celebrate as soon as they found out via our lightspeed comms. The irony was not lost on them that humanity started shooting at their party poppers & fireworks. Kids will be kids, no need to get the local PD guardians involved this time.

After we set off that giant and almost certainly illegal pyrotechnics device in HIP 22460, I think they might be interested in coming to have a look and see what all the fuss is about anyway.

... joking aside, I am currently at the point of "I don't believe this is intended for us or meant to be understood by us/humans". That it persisted past Cocijo's destruction either suggests the derelict remnants are still sending it, or that it was merely the recipient (and perhaps it displays the "order" for the Titans to investigate the space which humans are spreading from, maybe even the one for Cocijo to go park in Earth orbit). Imagery such as this is how I imagine at least some Thargoid communication to look like, rather than vocal (even if it remains an option)... partly because of those logs revealing the large-scale abductions of humans where Seo mentions "seeing" the pods inside of a Titan in like a 'vision' of sorts.

I also still don't believe it is supposed to be a silly Christmas tree easter egg. It coincided a little too well in its discovery with when the assault on the Titan in Sol was in its final stage, though I'm still unsure if it was already there before then or only "began" then.

I will also say I don't expect the Guardian AI/Constructs to make an appearance and for this to turn into a big three way-er, or more like humans sandwiched between the bots and the Thargoids once the former realize they were fooled by Salvation, and some of the latter figure humans might have some use beyond being annoying pests after all, because that'd be a rather big surprise... but it's not exactly impossible either, if my tinfoil is to be believed.

One thing I'm certain of is we won't likely see anything of Nemesis until the Thargoids come back around and turn into more of a handful than these eight Titans were, because otherwise he would find a lot less support after his chaotic madness with the Proteus Wave that did more damage than it was meant to prevent. Unless you ask those people who believe it was just a means for that madman to get into the Guardian network, something I am rather skeptical of it being the actual purpose of the construction.
