Looking for Arsenic

Looking for Arsenic... Can anyone give me a good location? Thanks
Alternatively, visit the crashed Anaconda on Orrere 2B, collect the grade 4 raw materials there, trade down at a raw materials trader for arsenic. Should get you plenty of arsenic since it's a grade 2 material.

I find it sad when the first suggestion is to send someone 100s of Ly outside the bubble and the next is a relog grind. I happened to be in Luyten's Star and noted that several landable bodies there had Arsenic.

Keep an SRV with you and spend a little time every play session shooting rocks and picking up everything. At the very least you'll pick up stuff you can trade with the material traders for what you do want.

Yes, I can't say I've ever been to the Crystal things. Raws are plentiful across the Bubble so it doesn't take me long to find anything I'm short of.
Arsenic tends to be one of the tougher ones though I did wind up trading it quite frequently while doing one of the late Spire sites (Raijin or Cocijo).

I am trying to collect Tungsten atm. I have done a lot of surface prospecting in the past but I am finding it very frustrating now. The problem is the planet surfaces are usually so rough that driving is very difficult. I don't like artificial grinds but I am considering visiting the crystal sites because of how poor the planet driving experience now is.
Manufactured mats from HGEs is now arguably too easy but raw mats and data is still too much of a pain to do within normal gameplay.

There are some good spots in the Bubble...
I'm not sure about Arsenic, but LHS 417 planet 9 E A is fantastic for Selenium (and some Yttrium)
(It even has the needle crystal thingies!)

I've been braintree farming before, but if I'm in a rush and don't want to spend hours jumping, prospecting or relogging - LHS 417 + material traders usually gets me what I need quite quickly o7

I usually fill many of my raw materials passively while laser mining. Nearly every asteroid will release some raw materials (1 or 2 pieces of 1 or 2 materials per asteroid as a guess) and any that are not already full (or ignored) will automatically be picked up by my limpets.

Regarding Ody and surface prospecting. There are many different bodies with different terrain that is easier or harder in traversal difficulty.

I find that bodies with Geological features will have more to shoot at to release materials in the first place. These are usually easily seen while cruising at low altitude so I can land nearby, get out in the SRV and start shooting and collecting. Than get back in my ship and look for the next area.

Geological features can be decent if you're not specifically after G4. Needle crystals seem to have become rather than in 3.8.
Arsenic being tier 2 should appear reasonably frequently.
If you are after tier 4 I find icy bodies are good for metallic meteorites if you look for small lone mountains on an otherwise smooth surface.

I just find that more often than not the surface is too broken and rough. I think I will have to move on elsewhere when the planets are like that and see if I can find smoother terrain that allows quicker driving.

What controls/controllers do you use to drive/fly the SRV?
