Question regarding the Anaconda

In it's description:
"The ship can also be upgraded with a docking bay."

Is this just a fancy way of saying it can take a Fighter hanger or does this mean it can host small ships like the Sidewinder? I haven't made my way to owning one yet, so am curious.

In historical* lore, it could field a Sidewinder. In the current game, it's just another ship-launched fighter enabled ship.

Hasn't been Lore that it can handle a small ship for a while now. Did take a while but that did get excised from the description, as per OP.

Yes. There will be similar text in the descriptions of the Keelback, Krait MkII, Type-9 etc.

Many many years ago before the game was fully released there were ideas around that it could carry a Sidewinder but that never made it into the game we now have.
