IRL exploration trip done, the wheeled Hauler hasn't exploded, she deserves a better Exploration patch.
No pirates nor Thargoids, just one routine control by the Omnipol(izei), well, our cargo bay had no contraband artifacts so all clear.
(As a scale comparison to the crashed Anaconda, here is the actual CMD Ryder7 infodumping the photographer)
Now I'm back to ED business with a bathrobe and slippers in a warm house!

Trying to unlock Todd the Blaster on my alt. When he needs 15 bounty vouchers, what kinda bounty vouchers? Those from destroying a ship with the red 'wanted' status? Or something else? Do I have to turn them in at his base? Or at any station?
I wish I could remember the details. He was one of the first I unlocked, back in the day. With bounties I racked up in the PF training grounds...
To meet him you need to have earned more than 15 bounties from wanted ships, those you don’t have to hand in anywhere in particular. That will get you access to his base.
But to unlock him you will have to hand over at his base more bounty vouchers worth 100,000 credits.

With the new mats bonanza, the material part of engineering (except maybe the goid and guardian stuff) is so easy. The unlocking of engineers is the harder part now.
Yes they made unlocking them this easy a long time ago.
Engineer unlocks are trivial now. Gathering the mats to engineer is less so; it's a lot easier but isn't trivial - you still have to do something, at least.
I hope they keep it sensible when unlocking the new engineers - you know, those who can modify your personal equipment for AXGCZs *

For Liz Ryder and Todd, I had to do the 200 landmine and 100k bounty donation to unlock. But after I got to Grade 4 with Todd, for some reason, Elvira and Selene had their requirements box ticked. I definitely had not mined with this Alt account, nor have I gone near any Soontil Relics.
Did FDev unlock the requirements for everyone or is my account bugged?

I think it's a bug, rather than a deliberate policy for the commoditiies components of engineer unlocks. I didn't have to give Lei Cheung 200 gold either.
For me, this mystery unlock of several engineers I didn't have access to prior happened after I switched from Legacy to Live. If I remember correctly, that is. Has been a while.
I think we can rest assured that no one is upset by this!

There are people over in other bits of the forums that can get upset over anything, especially someone not getting put through the same wringer they were.
It is easy to get people upset. But darn hard to get them down again...
