Loosing MATS at Material Trader...severe fault cause of server load???

I would like to bring this to the developers attention.

When I'm at material trader farming materials for Engineering, sometimes it says transaction failed with regards to swapping materials over. I log out and log back in and ive lost a third of my mats!!
Its already time consuming doing this after coming back from a 7-8 year break.

I have raised a ticket about this but have heard nothing back, be great to get my mats back because ive lost loads to a point where i dont want to play anymore as its wasting my time as this has happened about 7 times now.

if you got an auto e mail reply to your ticket an actual response should be forthcoming otherwise they did not receive it
the only mats ive noticed go missing are the shifty price trades but a deal is a deal as they say if you dont like the exchange price dont coco
i have eddi running to keep tabs on my matts which are now far more easily obtainable then they used to be...............

Its nothing to do with trade prices etc, the server loses connection it seems and mats are lost and this is even in solo play as the trade was started but didnt finish hence the error but then my mats are gone!!!! Yes i did receive a return email back im just waiting now.

This is still happening, traded in some mats for data wake exceptions and lost 50% cause of server connection issues, Game is broken, i cant be bothered playing anymore as not heard anything back from the devs...uninstalled for another 8 years...trash!

this is just a user chit chat forum really
as for the amazon peer to peer network servers being completely stable that is basically impossible thats a peer to peer network for ya
not even an expensive client type server like plantside 2 is totally without connection issues

Ascendancy brought many bugs, including this one. Fixing PP 2, and the Thargoid war had to take precedence at that time.

Unrelated new bugs like this might be fixed eventually. They certainly weren't going to be fixed while FDev were on holiday. Of course it's still happening from Dec 21 to present.

Its done it again, ive lost all adaptive encryptive captures from jamesons once i docked at Diaguandri. You would be annoyed if its happening to you as im wasting my time farming... Im ed off because basic things are broken which i thought would have been fixed and there not, theres plenty of other great games to play and not just elite

Its also just happened again, thats 200 mats ive lost at the material trader not to mention countless other times, also Jameson Crash site disappeared, FRONTIER FIX THIS NONSENSE!!!!!!!!! No point playing if loosing progress, its a joke.

it's a long-standing bug that sometimes (I think related to doing several trades in a row), you get a "transaction failed" error, and then your local display is off until you relog. It should not, however, result in permanently lost materials. (Edit: see e.g. https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/54700 )

If you think you're actually losing materials, please take screenshots of your material inventory when arriving at the material vendor, after getting the error, and after relogging after getting the error.
You can also try exiting the trader interface (or relogging) after every individual trade, maybe it helps avoid the bug.

in my experience it happens when doing trades too quickly. servers dont catch up fast enough and things get messed up. so far restrain and making pauses inbetween ensured good trade and relog solved all messups.
consistently losing all mats ive never heard of before. i wonder what kind of connection does op have...

Nothing has been fixed in the last three plus weeks, probably due to the holidays. Yelling in text will not change anything.

Did loads of trades at Diaguandri just last week without any issues at all.

Also no issues trading mats here, it's an issue with the OPS connection to the transaction servers, he needs to give the servers time between trades.
But as always it's FDevs fault.

I have fiber optics with Virgin Media. This has only been happening since the mandalay update
