Any date on when thr Mandalay goes on sale for in game credits?

They have indicated that there will be more new ships this year, in addition to the already published four ships?
They held a contest for players to design a new ship.

Could be just for fun, who knows.

This doesn't seem like an official Frontier competition though.

I think during one of the last streams of 2024.

What is stopping you from spending the equivalent of one portion of lunch money on buying it, if you desire it now?

I mean, this is not Star Citizen, the prices are really reasonable and no matter what you do, they will not bankrupt you even if you buy all the ships.
Some people are strangely stingy about money. I have several friends who don't hesitate buying a 3000€ top-of-the-line gaming computer but won't buy a 50€ game because it's too expensive and will wait forever for a sale.

(I would be lying if I denied being myself a bit like that too...)

The Python Mk II became available for credits only (in Odyssey) 91 days after becoming available for ARX. For the Type-8 Transporter it was 114 days.

I suspect (but obviously do not know) that if the Arx4Access approach has been judged by Frontier to be successful, in terms of increasing store revenue, then the Arx4Access interval might increase for the remaining two ships.

Don't expect an announcement on this before the live stream at the end of February (because they have said they are not doing one at the end of January)

That isn’t strictly FDev’s contest it is something from these people.

So statistically it should arrive on the 25. of march 2025 at latest.

Panther Clipper is overdue, though.

For the avoidance of any doubt I think we should say it isn't even remotely FDev's contest. As I understand it Frontier have provided some funding to JustAbout.com who pay out rewards for people who submit photos, videos, articles etc in response to challenges set on their website. They're basically just on online magazine who crowd source their content. I actually have a lot of time for JustAbout. They seem like good people and assemble the contributed content into some really nicely curated articles. Oh, and the money is real too (I've made over $200 so far!).

"Panther Clipper is overdue, though."
The final version of the ship was completed in 3302, the schematics were stolen by Delaine agents and the ransom demand refused.
The only ship in existence has been travelling since 3303 toward shipyards that will create a new 3D Print matrix from it.
Unfortunately its jump range is barely 7 LY and the route it is taking from an undisclosed location is alleged to complete sometime in 3311, provided there are no mechanical failures to durther delay its arrival.
