New Paintjobs

Oh my... I hadn't noticed the O7 😱(mostly because I normally ignore ship paintjobs with more than 2 colours).

I'm cheap, though.
Can I have an O6 for the Type 7 or the Asp Scout, instead? 😊

The "o7" is actually the one thing that puts me off even more...
The other racing paints do at least have an individual number for each ship type...

It seems to me like absolute laziness has kicked in here...

Oh god no!!
I mean, look at these:

I get there are limits to how much time you can invest in one paintjob (considering on foot ships are hugeous) but.....they just lack that fizz.

Which seemed lazy to me at the time, I was expecting a different number for each colour.

What would have been better was arrange the design so the number would go where the decals fit then have sets of racing number decals for sale as well.

Heh, I approve of our o7 salute being incorporated into a paintjob. What other number could possibly be as fitting! 😁

The lost opportunity perhaps is creating a big eye-drawing circle around a racer number - but with no number inside it - around the place where the ship ID code will go, so that it makes the ID into your racer number, giving everyone a unique custom number that really pops

Feature-creep idea: paint jobs should gain the ability to define where the decals and ship names/IDs go. Then a racer paint could make the ID very big, and also do things like align the ship name with eg racing stripes, shift decals to where they look like sponsor logos, etc

All these tacky paint jobs for legacy ships and still nothing new for the Cobra Mk V.

Not a ship skin or paintjob, but…

I thought we were past making ridiculous oversize armor pieces that just look bloated. There’s making sure shoulder pads don’t interfere with arm mobility and then there’s… this… (the image also does a poor job of showing, if this is just a weird valentine’s heart rendition when combined with the chest piece)

Ah, we're back to LARPing as Japanese robots. C'mon guys, if you're going to make stuff like that there had better be a giant robot to climb into to go with it. 🙃

So who's your favorite Pink Ranger?

I appreciate the post, but every time I see something like this a little part of me dies.

Seriously. I wonder why Frontier does not make suits or paint jobs to commemorate the Moon landing, or something like that. I mean, theme of the game is the clue I would think. Instead they go full Fortnite and we get all usual cheap holiday rubbish.

Hydrolysis (/haɪˈdrɒlɪsɪs/; from Ancient Greek hydro- 'water' and lysis 'to unbind') is any chemical reaction in which a molecule of water breaks one or more chemical bonds.

V Day was always more red than pink to me. 🤷‍♂️ I suppose Sally is happy at least.
