Wow, thanks to this thread I was browsing my old screenshots and stumbled on this gorgeous scene, it's so old I don't even remember taking it.
The exact date is lost due to being copied from an older machine but it's somewhere in the 2014-2016 range

Got to be sometime late 2016 because the jet cones weren't added to neutron stars and white dwarfs until late 2016, so that dates it after that.

This was my 2015 rig. I think I'd just bought a T6 and thought I was doing pretty good.

This was during the Thursday Power Play Server reset after Alliance response to the first 5th Column. Jeeze, I can't even remember the name of the type of negative state that Powerplay could get into. The Alliance Office Of Statistics boffins had done a calculation and worked out what we needed to do to avoid the negative state. The AEDC (Alliance Elite Diplomatic Corps) including me had spent the week smashing out fortification, undermining and reinforcement so that we wouldn't lose systems. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and we lost 30 systems. I stayed home from work to fly with the Alliance pilots to protect our systems. Yeah that's TeamSpeak, yeah that's 2 bottles of spirits, yeah that's the numberplate for the local strip club, yeah that's 64' of plasma, yeah those are Genelecs and a sub, yeah that's a Nostromo crew T shirt.

Holy carp, I was doing a file cleanup in an old laptop and found a bunch of old screenshots I'd forgotten about.

I know @Exil already posted basically the same shot, but still, checking out the (very limited!) station options and info while docked! I know the game has gained so much over the years yet it's still almost shocking to see just how far it has come! And it was already a good game back then.

How much more limited our map options were
