I'm not sure which player base complains more. ED, or Eve Online. Or maybe it's Eve Online refugees who now play ED.It would have been useful if there was more info given about how and when the rewards would be paid out.
Not sure that's deserved. Yeah us old folk know how this works, but most people don't, and it would be more useful if the description stated where and when the module would be given.I'm not sure which player base complains more. In outfitting at Trailblazer Echo, when it's given out. Which usually takes a few days. Note that you can get as many as you want (and have the mats for) right now at tech brokers.So ... where is the scanner? Also, for me the CG is still active (not greyed out). And yes, I have relogged a few times now / closed the game / relaunched it.
So ... where is the scanner?
There is a difference between complaining and constructive criticism, though. This is the latter. Everyone should want new players to enjoy Elite if they want their game to live on. It's not like putting a line of text in a box would change gameplay.I'm not sure which player base complains more. ED, or Eve Online. Or maybe it's Eve Online refugees who now play ED.![]()
It ended because the time given when the CG was extended has been reached. Certainly not premature.Why has it ended? Seems a bit premature, is it not?
The payment usually takes about an hour after the CG completes, so was around 9pm (21:00 UTC) for this one. Any modules usually take a few days, but are usually placed in Outfitting of the CG station, in this case the Trailblazer megaship.It would have been useful if there was more info given about how and when the rewards would be paid out.
Welcome to Community Goals, hope you enjoyed this first one and will come back for more. Although they have been a bit sporadic recently, CGs are held fairly regularly (used to be weekly) and have various objectives - trade, bounty hunting, mining etc. I hope to continue seeing you taking part.It is my first community goal since I recently started to play this game, so I want to:
1) say thank you to the decent human beings who chose to be decent human beings and answer questions, as now I know when and where to expect my rewards for the CG;
and 2) laugh at the garbage creatures that arrogantly didn't seem to realize that some people are new and wouldn't have no way of knowing this stuff without finding answers somewhere on the internet (like right here for example) and have been proven wrong by their assumption that ppl like myself don't exist by my very own existence.
"Some people's children..."

Is this part of a drinking game?So ... where is the scanner?

One slight disappointment with it was that when installed on my ship it showed up as having a 200,000+ credit price tag I had hoped it would count as free as a prize so much for the zero rebuy cost scheme.Yep, different from the standard engineered one. It's the same as "Engineered Detailed Surface Scanner V1" that can be purchased at Human Technology Brokers. It's pre-engineered, can't be improved, but there's no need - it does miracles.
You buy it per item, each needs
24 Niobium
28 Mechanical Components
22 Germanium
26 Mechanical Scrap
Which one, this CG one, and how do you tell?One slight disappointment with it was that when installed on my ship it showed up as having a 200,000+ credit price tag I had hoped it would count as free as a prize so much for the zero rebuy cost scheme.
