Watching a collider, binary moons around a GG, it was moving so fast it was gone in about 40 seconds.
I have no idea what commodities might be needed so I am going to wait and see, while I am doing that I am going to take part in one or both of the CGs with the idea of getting a reasonable contribution in before the update happens halfway throughHi All
What am I doing at the moment....Mining, because from some of the information I've recently seen we might need mined metals / minerals as part of the commodities needed for Colonisation. Okay, at this point in time I haven't a clue of what stuff might actually be needed, but I'm just outside the bubble at one of my favourite mining spots, so it's something to do while waiting for (hopefully) the Colonisation feature.
Osmium is one of the elements I'm concentrating on, and if this isn't needed there's always those Osmium centred missions at some stations that's worthwhile doing!
Does anybody else feel that maybe some particular commodities may be relevant in this case scenario?....Or are you just waiting for more Colonisation info?...Just wondered.

YepThanks for that! Is that the 572.42?
Yes, that's what I've been doing too. This is the first time there's been a problem (and it was a big one). The most recent driver I see is 572.47. I use the NVidia app to handle my graphics drivers.
You only need to deliver a single load of 1 tonne or more to qualify for the rewards so you could do it in Stormbringer.I've joined the Brewer security forces in Minerva with the Stormbringer. So far, I've focused my attempts on the nav beacon, poking everything that has a "WANTED" stamp on their hull. Works quite well, so far. The most difficult opponent I had so far was in a Vulture. Really difficult to keep your guns pointing at these. The ones I feared the most were surprisingly easy to handle - the big fish like Anacondas and Clippers pop almost as fast as an Alliance Chieftain.
I'm contemplating to fetch the Interstellar Loadstar and try to haul some stuff for the other CG, but I'm not sure if I'm up to that task...
I was going to have a look at the latest driver For Science™ and then I read this thread:
Type 10's are great fun too, if the nav beacon is compromised. It's easy to sub-target their engines because it takes those lumbering giants forever to turn.I've joined the Brewer security forces in Minerva with the Stormbringer. I delivered 60 of each commodity in my Krait. Though I'm not sure why exactly since you only need a single item to qualify. Same here. Sometimes I check before I get all my folders and stuff set up because I like to reboot after an update.I do. But I do the update at my leisure, no automation.
Well, I was lucky. No problems on my end.Yes, that's what I've been doing too. This is the first time there's been a problem (and it was a big one).
I haven't gotten so far, yet. But even without, they are quite easy targets. Right now, I'm glad I can make it through without fumbling myself into oblivion. It's easy to sub-target their engines
Right now, it is more "decorative", as I'm still learnig how this all works. But I might give it a try next time I'm out there. Are you using the K-warrant scanner for extra cash?
You don't really have to do anything if you stick it on a weapons fire group which gets a long finger press, like gimbled lasers or multi-cannons. It'll scan while you're firing. Though I also stick it on a non-weapons group in case I want to scan without firing. Maybe the data link type scanner group that never gets used.Right now, it is more "decorative", as I'm still learnig how this all works. But I might give it a try next time I'm out there.
I've never understood why those are used so much, you can tell if someone has a warrant just by locking on to their ship. I thought they were mainly used for finding passengers that have warrants on a ship like a Dolphin, I have never used one, never had a need in ship-to-ship combat so I'm not an expert on they're use.You don't really have to do anything if you stick it on a weapons fire group which gets a long finger press, like gimbled lasers or multi-cannons. I'd still recommend engineering it for fast scan though.
Usually, you'll only collect a bounty they had on their head in the system you're in. The K-warrant scanner searches a database (or something) of other systems they might have a bounty in so you can now get that cash too.I've never understood why those are used so much, you can tell if someone has a warrant just by locking on to their ship. Ah, that makes sense, they should call it the wiki warrant scanner. The problem is I have no place to put it, I haven't got a fuel scoop on my Krait, I usually stack identical kill missions (or very close) and get credit for both simultaneously, I think it's a bug.Usually, you'll only collect a bounty they had on their head in the system you're in. You may even scan a clean pilot and discover in your contacts that he has bounties in other systems. Though I never use this. It seems overly complicated. Plus, you'd be the wanted guy if you took a pop at him.
