I think you're overthinking it. I think FDEV is just trying to be as direct as possible. People will complain about balance and refunds.What is troubling me here is that it implies that live balancing & monitoring isn't already a baseline expectation from Fdev's point of view.
That's a humongous problem, if true.... though it would certainly explain their approach to the issue reporting ticketing system and extant balance problems for the past 10 years.

We'll know if any of those issues are fixed or not when they post the changelog for the update.So a big new 'feature'. But the last big feature/rework of pp2.0 still has major outstanding issues. Hey Fdev are you planning on fixing the prior issues???
Issues I am aware of and have run into:
FC transfer of cargo to ship
Bartender issues on FC
Rares Trading
Escape pods
Concord Cannons with certain engineering and reloads
I am sure there are others but I may not have run into them yet.
The reason I bring this up, is that will this new colonization feature result in the same type of issues? And then the issues will be ignored like the pp2.0 ones?
