I initially thought we would all be making purchases with Fish again!
That will be when we get to colonize water worlds.

"Moray Starboat, to go, please, and with fries."That will be when we get to colonize water worlds.
after it runs a bit there is usually a wipe followed by a flushI'm intrigued as to how a beta on live system will work.
I suspect people will get a strong smell of incense in Cambridge, today.I expect FD are at this minute conversing with the Machine Spirit and negotiating a smooth upgrade.
Simon could teach you a thing or three... https://www.theregister.com/offbeat/bofh/like using the hole-puncher to adjust your colleagues collars? or replacing the graphite in the pencil with cajal?
Are you suggesting the zombies are not, as tradition dictates, looking for brains?
No need to be too nitpicky about the terminology being used. Sure, the traditional development cycle is "alpha" (playable but lacks features), "beta" (feature-complete but requires testing) and "release candidate" (should be feature-complete and tested, bar some last-minute bugs that are found), none of which is yet released to the public and is purely internal development ("gold" being the actual release version). Of course then there's the so-called "public beta" where the public is given an opportunity to bug-test a beta version, but this is usually kept separate from an actual official release. Not joking. I can't get my head around how something in beta sits on a live game. Aren't they mutually exclusive?
Ba dum fishProbably a whale away yet.

Especially if there isn't any relevant narrative events surrounding colonization, it might as well not exist for me. Sure, there will be players who like it because they enjoy moving cargo around, and all the better for them. But this is all just going to be player controlled stuff to add more BGS and Powerplay systems, that I don't see actually adding anything to the story. Sure, Frontier are somewhat making it part of the lore (...)
I think I made the point, anyway. Not all features are for everybody and it's fine to not be interested in one ahead of time. Adding glorified hauling isn't going to make one like hauling when they've already fairly solidly determined on their own it's not for them. Simply putting fuel back on the carrier was already painful enough for me.
PP 2.0 was a pvp update, now we have a hauling/industrial update form the bits of info we have. If we get another major system update, hopefully it's an exploration overhaul. Not every update is going to please everyone.
What kind of systems are you looking for? what's your criteria?
Did you read the first post? It's really a crappy move - not posting update notes to read while we wait.
The notes normaly come near the end of the update process.Full Update Notes will be released alongside the update.
But we DEMAND them NOW!!!Did you read the first post?
