Will we get a full year of DLC in 2025

Tbh we're more or less on schedule with 2021-23 seasons, Spring DLC slotted for Easter release.
It'll come down to June. If nothing then - or they announce this upcoming one is indeed the last one - I'd predict another in the fall like Zookeeper's.
Yeah we will see, they have less porting to do now so that makes me wonder if they will go back to it. On the other hand, PZ has to end eventually. On the other, other hand the DLCs and bundles are making them easy money.

We will be lucky if we get a anniversary animal let alone more than two packs, and as for what we could get, I feel there might be a focus on packs with a broad theme that can include a variety of animals, like Berine Goodwin (Charlie's idea), worldwide, adventure, adaptations, oddities, (insert real-life zoo), arboreal, etc. So I could see something like

Oddities Animal Pack
Short-Beaked Echidna (it's a monotreme, what more do I say)
Reeves Muntjac (with its tusk and werid Antlers)
Walrus (its blob-like body and large tusk makes it unique from all other seals)
Brown Pelican (its unique throat pouch and eating habits)
Rock Hyrax (ROCK HYRAX OR DEATH, also a close relative to elephants)
Japanese Serow (related to goats yet looks like a goat and a elk has a kid)
Bat-Eared Fox (while the least unique, it still has werid ears and mostly eats insects)
Ether museum scenery or Naked Mole-Rat

Worldwide Animal Pack
(SA): South American Coati
(Af): Secretary Bird
(NA): American Black Bear
(Oc): Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo
(CA): Geoffrey's Spider Monkey
(As): Blackbuck
(An): Gentoo Penguin
(Eu): (Exhibit Animal): Legless Lizard

If anything, I would feel an anniversary animal each year would be the minimum they would do. Especially if they are working on PZ 2 for release in a few years.

Using Planet Coaster as a guide line
17 Nov 2016 PC1 - 10 Nov 2020 Console, 6 Nov 2024 PC2
5 Nov 2019 PZ1 - 26 Mar 2024, ? Nov 2027 PZ2 ??

I would hazard a guess that PZ1 Console was going to be released in Nov 2023 ( the 4 year mark ) but I guess delayed. Would that then push the potential PZ2 to Nov 2028 ?

Personally, I'm happy at the moment. I still haven't got all my animals researched .. Polar Bear is my last one I think rofl. And I still have a handful of achievements ( mainly silver and gold campaign once they added them rofl ). So, plenty of things to do still in the game.

I guess we will have to wait until the next Unlocked chat and see what they have to say about it.

This is exactly what I'm expecting. 2 more DLCs to wrap things up and make it to the 20th DLC. One in April, the other in October/November.
I would love having like 8 new species for the Latin America Pack, same roster than yours except that I would gladly add the Brazilian Porcupine instead of the Greater Rhea and not the Ocelot (because I'm not a fan of this big bird but I agree it is a key species from SA).

For the final pack, same theme idea. I would just love if it could contain 12 species instead of just 8. Here is why:
1) It's the final pack. Let's finish this properly.
2) I'm willing to pay more but we need to receive more.
3) The zoo project on which I'm working aims to contain 12 different areas that cover the world. I think it would be possible to make a DLC with a species from each of these zones. Here is what I would do.

-South America (whatever interesting species is left after the potential release of a Latin America pack)
-Central America/Caribbean (I'd love the Roseate Spoonbill, American Flamingo or White Ibis)
-North America (Rocky Mountain Elk or American Black Bear)
-Arctic (Musk Ox or Walrus)
-Europe (Alpine Marmot)
-Sub-saharan Africa/Savanna (Nile Crocodile or Serval)
-Central Africa/Tropical Forest (Mantled Guereza, Zerba Duiker or Shoebill)
-Maghreb/Middle East (Aoudad?)
-South Asia - India (Blackbuck or Lion Tailed Macaque)
-East Asia (Golden Snub Nosed Monkey, Muntjac or Raccoon Dog)
-South East Asia (Sulawesi Crested Macaque or Delacour's Langur)
-Australia/Oceania (Echidna, Tree Kangaroo or Tiger Quoll)

I know it's monkey heavy here but there a lot of other interesting possibilities. I think it would be my dream final pack.
That's a great wrap up list.

I think if we got two New World Monkeys in a Latin America pack, if they were to include a third that would be satisfactory. Really it would be good to get 5 more in total but that's really pushing it. Three works, to give us four in total. The Golden Lion Tamarin is another possibility instead of the Spider Monkey or Squirrel Monkey. Woolly Monkeys and Night Monkeys, and the Bald Ukari would be neat but probably far less popular and less likely choices. I have a feeling the Squirrel Monkey is likely since it would take the least amount of work (which is fine by me. I want it more than any of the others than the Howler)

The rest of the finale is great and getting 12 animals is also a possibility. I like your choices overall, though the Serval does nothing for me. That's probably because I"m just over the cats at this point except for an Ocelot.

For the Middle East would you consider the Golden Jackal or Honey Badger? It seems like you we re questioning your pick yourself so that's why I ask about that specifically.

Man, that oddities pack would be my favorite of all time!

IF I had to do a LA pack and then a worldwide pack I'd probably do:
  • White-nosed Coati
  • Ocelot
  • Roseate Spoonbill
  • Black Howler Monkey
  • Patagonian Mara
  • Geoffroy's Spider Monkey
  • Bush Dog
  • Macaws (WE)
Worldwide Pack (off the top of my head)
  • NA -> Elk + ABB
  • SA -> Golden Lion Tamarin + Greater Rhea
  • Europe -> Chamois + Common Pheasant
  • Asia -> Lion-tailed Macaque + Muntjac
  • Australia -> Perentie + Kea
  • Africa -> Secretary Bird + Black and White Colobus
  • Exhibits -> Domestic Pigeon + Gecko + Chameleon + Cobra
Island Pack:
  1. Japanese Serow
  2. Cuban crocodile
  3. Victoria crowned pigeon
  4. Nene
  5. American flamingo
  6. Brown Pelican
  7. Kagu
I'd love that pack too. I'd hope for Raccoon Dog but don't know where to put it...
