DLC 19 Speculation

  • Carneiro selvagem do deserto
  • Coiote
  • urso negro americano
  • Jaguatirica
  • Quati-de-nariz-branco
  • Lebre de cauda preta
  • Corre-caminhos maior
  • Peças de cenário do oeste americano

It's an interesting selection, I would love to create a Western themed zoo. 😄

Do we also get western themed scenery? Maybe, could be a way to reuse assets and get more milage out of them.
Although from what ive heared the western scenery apperently is ported over from, so its not really new per se. And taking an old theme from the first coaster game and selling it as a PZ Dlc would feel weird and kinda scummy to be honest.
But if its a new set then sure why not, could be cool

In any case i dont really expect them to do a full on wild west pack, if anything a pack about NA as a whole or better yet the americas in general

Personally I’d much more prefer log cabin/ Native American First Nations scenery for NA. Western feels too theme park-y for me. I know it’s common in Europe but it’s not common in zoos here
Oh it definitely is a lot more theme parky, but I got to be honest a lot of the scenery in this game feels like that for me. Twilight pack especially. But if there was a themed section for the USA Wild West is a good one. I’ll admit the Log Cabin one would probably have more use though.

I'd love the next DLC to have American western animals but I don't think it will have to do with Western scenery... There aren't too many basic American western animals that are requested. I think it will be either Central America, Latin America, or maybe Aviary.
Scrublands, Rainforest and Polar are smaller possibilities... IMO

Do you guys think that with a scrubland and a rainforest pack as final DLCs we could cover most of the important gaps in the roster?

I'll give it a try:

Rainforest animal pack:

1. Coati (coati - very demanded - arboreal SA small carnivore)
2. Tree kangaroo (tree roo - very demanded )
3. Mexican spider monkey / Golden lion tamarin / Squirrel.monkey / White face saki (NWM)
4. Scarlet ibis (american / southamerican colorful bird)
5. White face whisling duck (a duck)
6. Slender snouted crocodile (african croc)
7. Ocelot (SA small jungle cat) or mantled guereza (african monkey)
8. Ex: chameleons

Scrubland animal pack

1. Greater rhea (SA - bird - patagonia)
2. Secretary bird (most wanted - african ground dwelling bird)
3. Patagonian mara (patagonia - south america)
4. Blackbuck (indian antelope)
5. Perentie (australian monitor)
6. Short beaked echidna (the other monetreme type)
7. Honey badger (deserty mustelid also India) or grey plains langur (indian monkey)
8. Ex: Indian cobra ( cobra)

Anniversary: american black bear

Animals left out: musk ox, walrus, sea otter, grey crowned crane, a pelican, more galliforms... But i think overall it covers pretty much the most requested stuff and makes for varied packs with birds, reptiles and non ungulate mammals.

Considering what the internet has become this is indeed a wonderful community.
Honestly I’ve enjoyed this forum a ton, this is nothing compared to Reddit and other communities. I find that some communities swing in one of two directions, toxic positivity or just straight toxicity.

So you either can’t criticize/ complain about something otherwise “you aren’t a fan” or you can’t say anything good or make any opinion without someone getting all uppity.

I’ve found things to be pretty good here! I think it helps that on a Forum no one is just a username or picture.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum!

Getting into the subject, one of my biggest wishes in this game since 2019 has always been to create a local zoo, but I'm Brazilian, so you can already imagine my complicated situation.

Although we have added DLC that made me jump for joy, like the maned wolf, capybaras and jaguars, there are still some basic things missing..

Brazilian zoos have many primates and birds, and even the Colombian capuchin monkey is not common here, we have marmosets, howler monkeys, lion tamarins, spider monkeys, among many others.

So, realistically, the ones I would most like to receive right now are monkeys, ocelots, coatis, anteaters and some smaller rodents, like agoutis.

And I admit that I hope to receive one or two of them in the next pack, I hope I'm not being too optimistic.

But I try to be a positive girl, so let's have hope!

(Sorry for the english - google translate)
Welcome to the forums, glad to see the brazilian population here has increased, i'm also from Brazil, so it's good to see there's more portuguese speaker's around.

There was a thread asking a similar question a little while back, but here's an updated version of the pack I made for that (all photos used were taken by me):

Doing this made me want to do an image compilation of the best photographs animals I've taken of animals in the wild that are already in the game, so here's that:

Doing a zoo based on wildlife encounters would be a cool idea actually, might have to think about that.
