New big ship

If it will fit in the hanger it will fit through the mail slot, if flown carefully.

Too small, it doesn’t fit into the corners of the pad.

To maximise the number of optional slots for cargo should it only have one utility slot and one small hardpoints with the core slots as small as possible?
Nah, it needs a spinal mounted plasma beam accelerator.

4 new ships in 2025, 1 revealed, what would be the other three?
Maybe 3 large ships, combat, trade, exploration?

Perhaps no hardpoints, no utility slots. Has a trailer so takes up two large pads but they have to be aligned so the back of the ship hooks to the front of the trailer. Via a flexible towing mechanism made from CMM composites and low temperature diamonds.

It just needs to be the boxiest box in ED. Sprinkle about 10 small hardpoints and voila!

With all the moaning over the years, I would like them to release a ship that is called Panther Clipper, but is really the smallest, slowest, most useless ship you can think of. The Spinal Tap version of the Sidewinder if you will (not that the sidewinder is useless... but a large cargo hauler it ain't).

"Panther Clipper" Jet Pack.

Yes, a very large ship, that can't even enter the station, but must use the external bridge, to load and upload. I can even suggest a name - Mammoth.

Best thing they did last year was making the best trade ship an actual cargo hauler, so doing that again for large ships makes sense.

Other than that, I don't know what I'd want in a large ship. Core dynamics to send the Corvette to their skunkworks to create a quad huge hardpoint deathbringer?

If they take inspiration from the placement of the C3 hardpoint on the Corvette they’ll put two up top behind the cockpit (fine) but then one underneath unable to target anything 20 degrees above the nose and the final one pointing backwards …

...nah, that's reserved for much needed Weyland-Yutani mega class (where you CAN NOT load Leathery Eggs from Zaonce).

Btw, I finally figured out "from where I know that face on his avatar?" :)

I would have called it "Nostromo". After, you know, how much it would cost to blow up in adjusted dollars.

Yes, my avatar is one of the Three Storms but I can't remember which. Think it's Stainless Steel Human Claw Hand Man but it's all in the reaction anyway.

Have to admit Conrad is not someone I have read much.

With the extra strap to hold his chin(s) in place I believe that is Rain.

The one @Doctor Dread posted is, unsurprisingly, Lightning.
