Feeling ripped off, definitely suing for false advertisement... Buyer beware on installations.

I've always wondered.

If installations/facilities don't have landing pads, then how do people get inside?

I think they just walk from wherever their ship is parked. But there must be at least one landing pad somewhere in the compound. It's just not practical or safe otherwise.

Unfortunately, an ancient ancestor signed up for a steaming service. By doing so they also agreed that they nor their descendants may ever take legal action against that service. That service has since been acquired by a company that was acquired by a company that we acquired and that waiver now covers us.

Furthermore you statement constitutes harassment and we will be suing you for 1 trillion credits for stress and emotional trauma.

Have a nice day

AUTO-RESPONSE UNIT 5

Looks like the UI needs a tweak, but it strikes me that these would be a nice area to have as a guild space when vanguards become live.

Suppose the relevance of these will become more apparent when standard of living becomes a practical concern.

Yeah, facilities don't have landing pads. That's what makes them facilities and not stations.
Thinking back to my BGS murderisation sprees I'd beat up ground instillations that had NPC pads. Comically the game would stuff large ships on medium pads and I'd watch them take off (and later explode).

Maybe this is the confusion? Might it be that the pad is for NPC security and its mislabelled?

I can't imagine if System Authority Ships come out of them.

Anyway, if the bars sell materials, I'll build one.

Spent 5 hours building this, note, it does NOT have any landing pads.

So, you want to sue because a game in live beta isn't fully functional? Interesting.
Well, if it was me running cross, I'd start by asking FDev what they mean by "beta" and where that is defined, on a theory that a "reasonable person" would assume things deployed into the live game are part of the game.

And you, dear witness, will need to explain why a whole bunch of similar gotchas are still in Odyssey ever since folddown.

Sec does / did (from when I'd be doing this) come from those that have pads, as it was why I chose the base to beat up (because it was a guaranteed way to get more ships to come).

Beta simply means "the version before final release", subject to change.

One would assume that a player of video games knows what a Beta is.

Ultimately, a game is never "final"; it's always subject to change.
