Can't see my other Character while in game,running 2 accounts on same machine.

Hi guys hope this is the right spot for this.

Ok I have a account on Steam with all all expansions,I run that one then with Elite Dangerous Horizons with another account with Fdev I just got.

I am running both on the same PC.

My main question is why can't I see my other character? my other char is in my squad and I have tried Open,Private Group and Solo Play can't see him in the galaxy map or in same system.
In the galaxy map it even says no friends online or in system.

So could it be that i'm running on the same machine with 2 accounts and could it be my other char only has Horizons?

Been trying all day trying to figure this out.

Horizons and Odyssey are separate games. It’s a bit like Las Vegas: what happens in Horizons stays in Horizons. Horizons is legacy where Odyssey is live.

Didn't know this sorry. Got it working,both are on Horizons and in a Private Group.
