Colonization Stations - Orbital Position Options

My new colony station appears to always by on the far side of the planet (the dark side, facing away from local star).
(Is this because it is a Science Station?)

It would be fantastic if the System Architect could define the orbiting position of stations from a simple list:
  • Standard Periodic Orbit
  • Fixed Orbital Position Facing Local Star
  • Fixed Orbital Position Facing Away From Local Star
  • Fixed Orbital Position Facing "Left"
  • Fixed Orbital Position Facing "Right"

It will be in orbit, if it is a long way out from the planet that orbit could be months long. Since you haven't provided this data it's hard to say how long it will take for the station to come around to the other side of the planet, since it could only have been there for a few days or a week at most it probably won't have moved around yet. Don't confuse your station with the ISS, that's at a stupid low orbit that takes it around the earth in a short period of time. The moon takes 30 days to do the same thing.
