I second this! Please make a button to cancel construction, it is very necessary.
This! I built a "Horizon Installation" which serves no purpose (that I can tell) - I can't dock, can't trade. I didn't realise until AFTER it was built. And it's where I wanted my main surface station... nestled nicely inside a crater. Now I have to choose another location 100KM away..Third'ed?!
A button to cancel construction and even a button to demolish already fully constructed installations is needed.
I would also appreciate a mechanic to move an orbital thingy from one slot to another. I did not want my asteroid base in the rocky ring, I wanted the icy ring.
What economy does the installation / hub have? This should have a direct affect on any other surface outposts or stations around that planet. This! Geez that sounds like a real nightmare, never occured to me, thought that the system took care of the specs, so whats the best way to avoid this scenario so as to not to have to go thru that in the future?Yes. Currently, every input is final.
Even if that input is a Tier 3 station placement, it might end up wherever, including normally illegal positions and there is no undo or delete option.
"Feature complete!"
They are trying to work out the way it all works here:Geez that sounds like a real nightmare, never occured to me, thought that the system took care of the specs, so whats the best way to avoid this scenario so as to not to have to go thru that in the future?

Are you able to build a planetary outpost on the same planet? From what I've read in these forums that outpost should also become a refinery economy.Refinery.
