What is this "topic" thing you speak of? :)

In celebration of the stock market, we have had five inches of rain over the last two days, with more coming.

If you know anything about the Mississippi River, and it's tributaries, guess what's coming.

At least two of our local restaurants used by my gaming group will probably be underwater by tomorrow. What else will be underwater on Monday Morning I cannot say...

When the Mississippi River backs up, the River Des Peres backs up, then Deer Creek backs up. Both places were completely underwater several times in the last 20 years.

Seems like there might be a better location, or maybe business is that good that they can cover it, as in budgeting for it?

I broke out my bubble alt account for the first time in about a year. It hadn't even gotten SCO drives.

It was like a century had elapsed. This account was a "no grind" account, so every ship felt old and clunky compared to the new ones. What was stunning was looking at how many systems had been occupied. There seemed little point in trying to make a new claim in the bubble.

The main account will probably just trade and mine, until colonization gets straightened out. For now, I am too tired to do empire building.
