I can just imagine how much some of the folks at Frontier have been sweating reading all the complaints about the coyote being just another dog, knowing full well that the pack is going to have two of them.

In all honesty, most of the animals are not bad in and of themselves (the coyote is the only one I feel absolutely nothing for), but I just think there could have been so many better options.

If the coyote was anything else this pack would be a top tier animal pack, because the bush dog is such a cool inclusion in my opinion.
I'm pretty positive with this pack! The saki looks wonderful.

Y'know, if I had known the bush dog was in this pack, I wouldn't have been nearly as charitable to the coyote... that's SUCH an odd decision. On the bright side, we are getting two birds and a monkey, and the animals are looking decent model-wise so far...

I am really happy about the bush dog and the monkey but the sheep spot should DEFINITELY have been a coati. The flamingo should be a spoonbill or pelican and the coyote should be the ABB.

Lol. I told y'all this pack was perfect for the Ocelot...I am honestly a bit surprised that Bush Dog and Coyote are in the same pack though.

But like the ocelot and bushdog are not the problem, it's the coyote and the sheep that should have been just south-american species instead.

I’m slightly disappointed by no mara, coati, or American black bear, but I couldn’t be more thrilled about the bush dog. I adore this species. They’re going to be unlike anything currently in the game, and I think people are going to come around to them once we see some pictures or videos of them.

Ocelots are great too, and the fact that they so often got overlooked in SA discussions always seemed wild to me. They’re indispensable. Super happy they’re here.

I was already super on board with the initial reveals aside from the sheep, but I should also mention that I’m super glad it’s the American flamingo and not Chilean or one of the other oddballs.

Easily a top tier pack imo.

I'm okay with the roster. But the coyote in lieu of the coati is a slap in the meta wishlist. Hah.

But the most disappointing thing about this all is that there appears to be no free update? Mostly because there's all sorts of low-hanging fruit that could have been slotted into the game...

I just don't get the forced hate towards the Coyote- look how incredible that Animal looks like- ofc there r better choices but cmon like I'm gonna use that defo more than I'm gonna use the Dingo, Wolves and Dhole mainly just cuz of how good the model is- but like I don't get how the coyote gets more hate than like the sheep while we got so many sheeps lately and we hadn't got a canine in like ages
