Ships Next ship release – will it be a large pad ship?

Hi CMDRs,

With the recent addition of the Corsair and the growing speculation around the next ship release, I was wondering if anyone has heard any hints (official or otherwise) about whether the upcoming ship might be a large pad vessel?

If so, I’d also be curious to know what kind of cargo capacity or transport role it might serve. Are we possibly looking at a new freighter-type ship, or something more multipurpose?

Would love to hear your thoughts or any credible info you might have come across!

They already released a new ship specialized for cargo hauling, so perhaps they won't be making another one. However, with Trailblazers the demand for a bigger cargo hauling ship is enormous, so who knows. (And it's not like they are shying away from releasing multiple ships that have the same "role". After all, both the Cobra5 and the Corsair are marketed as "multipurpose".)

I think the best thing for them to do would be for the next ship to be the largest cargo ship in the game. Perhaps something like 1000-1200 tons of cargo capacity.

We all hope for a large pad Boa (the big brother of Anaconda in earlier Elite) or even a Panther Clipper.

But probably we will get a medium federation ship SCO enabled.

I also hope for a new Powerplay geared towards Anti Xeno, with a PP AX weapon and a Guardian medium ship.
