I'm fairly new here..... so I don't have any understanding about this. But....I was messing with HD xxx numbers in galaxy map and found this HD 2007. By my understanding, there are no other star systems around it. Not even close. I googled it and no one even mentions this place. And if I'm correct, maximum jump ranges are 90~. SOOO...... I'm interested in how do we plan to get there in future. :D And am I the first one to see this place since no one ever mentioned it ???? @_@

Even with a Fleet Carrier, its jumprange is limited to 500 light years. If that star is all by its lonesome and no string of stars less than 500 LY apart leading to the rest of the galaxy, that star will never be explored with the current level of frame shift jump technology.

There are many real life stars logged as being that distant, and the game utilities many star catalogs to present some degree of reality to the galaxy in game and the skybox we see, so eveyr dot is a star which in theory can be traversed to, the rest is procedural, generated from a stellar forge which takes many such factors into consideration.

However just because something exists in game, doesn’t negate were supposed to go or even be able to get there.
