I think everyone's getting themselves ready for a massive let down.

It's as long as a Cutter and as wide as a T9...
... but 2/3rds of it is legs, feet & thrusters.

The dimensions/volume of a ship has little to do with how many or what class optional module slots it has. You can't really deduce anything by examining what the ship looks like from the outside.

Quite a lot can be ball-parked just knowing what pad it fits on. When you start taking exisitng ships and modules into account you can start hammering pretty close to the real numbers.

Last time someone watched me land (cutter) they said I made it look easy. slipped in as smooth as glass. I'll have to see if I can still do that with a panther.

First step towards the Panther made: I went to Titan ruins in Sol, collected Drive Component and made SCO Pre-Engineed FSD 7 (and mass-managed it with Felicity) and stored it at Shirarta.
Now all I have to do is wait

100%!! I've always honked the discovery scanner and flashed my landing lights when entering the slot in my T9, to at least warn human players (although I'm not sure that the honk is audible by other players). When it's busy I use auto-pilot which knows when other NPC ships are exiting the slot.
