New ship: Panther Clipper

According to the current outbidding competition to sufficiently honor the monstrosity of the brick, there should be a separate FSD size class for the Panther - less than the opening of a spectacular jump portal (analogous to capital class ships) would not be worthy of a Panther Clipper!

I am looking forward to the ship as much as the next man, and I will be buying it early access, but lets not kid ourselves, its the Prometheus.......

I love the design of the PCMkII, too! I wish FDev had followed the Prometheus' design and put the bride at the nose tip. Those scenes of landing the ship were some of the best in terms of landing scenes in movies.

But then there may be copyright issues...

Let's hope we're not going to get Thargoid face huggers anytime soon. I have enough nightmares as it is 😱
It's a shame Odyssey died, because that'd be my vote for a next DLC. Who doesn't want to walk around a dead settlement with bodies and corrosive goo and scuttling noises from the corners of buildings?

Did you decontaminate yourself before getting on your ship or are you getting a surprise as you travel back through supercruise.

Are we sure it doesn't get a class 8 FSD?

An engineered Class 7 FSD on a 2500 ton Cutter jumps 22 LY
Assuming PC has a pre-cargo weight of around 2500, it's going to need a C8 to do anything useful when loaded...

... unless FDev do something like set the Colonisation radius as a minimum (read maximum) standard:
An engineered Class 7 FSD on a 3500 ton Cutter jumps 15.7 LY

Evolved/genetically engineered Trumbles on steroids......now there's something to ponder! :)
