How the Galaxy will Evolve Over Time (video)

When will the universe begin to evolve through player instancing with alliances to take over sectors?
Right now, it feels like everything is very static and all you can really do is tacked on mini-games.
When do we get the real game? Cause that's what interested me in Elite, not trading and just doing missions.

So in the video he explains that you are able (As a player) to help build stations and fight for territory
OK, when does the game start? Do we wait another acouple months for this.

I guess my main question is can we participate in Faction wars which will allow us to evolve the galaxy over time, or do I have to wait until release on 16th, or do I wait until Jan-Feb next yearwtffff

Only Frontier knows the answer, an even they may not know the answer as the timing of events unfolding may depends on what players do and whether players are successful in their missions.

Base on events so far, Federation and the empire seem to be in a state of cold war with both sides using independence systems like Eurin (spelling) as pawns in their schemes, Through with the emperor ill things could deteriorate pretty quickly into a hot war.

Helping to take over systems, build stations, will all be done through the mission system, and noticing supplies issues through the news.

If we are lucky. Just guessing it looks like the game will be released with maybe 1/2 of the DDA features. Not counting DLC expansions.

It still feels like a lot is missing from the game. It's not a living galaxy like it should be. Not even NPCs are persistent and are randomly spawned near players etc

What a joke. We scrapped offline so we could have a more dynamic universe, sorry if the universe isn't dynamic though. (Please don't look behind the curtain)
