20 animals for Planet Zoo 2 you need to have RE-ADDED before you can sleep in peace

So, I thought about it for a bit now.
I have some animals I really don't want to miss personally in PZ 2. However, I found that for some of them, I don't really build that much. So if Frontier uses this data to determine which animals should be readded (in base game or down the line) I am in trouble.

So... similar to the Meta Wishlist and with aprocimately the same life span of a future game in mind I chose the number 20. I give you my 20 and I would love to see your 20:

1. California Sea Lion
2. Binturong
3. Skunk
4. Raccoon
5. Maned Wolf
6. African Wild Dog

  15. Capuchin monkey
  16. Saki monkey
  17. Hamadryas baboon
  18. African spurred tortoise
  19. Asian water monitor
  20. American alligator
I ran out of space to include all of the primates and habitat reptiles, likewise I had no where to put the rodents.
Still, with how bad bird representation is I expect all 14 (and I hope more) to come back!

Avoiding very obvious basic stuff since yeah I'd be really, really bummed if they somehow missed an elephant, but I just don't see that happening (at least I hope lol).

This is what I'm feeling right now... exotic and seemingly unlikely... because why say Lion or Giraffe when you know they'll be in the base game?

It's painful I don't have the procupine in my list. I do think though it has a reasonable chance for re-addition. Whereas the Skunk... ooof. Yeah, that is one of those animals I feel wouldn't get a second chance, due to a lot of Twilight Pack animals not being received that well, mostly from people from America. But I really love it to bits.

All the northern beauties:

1. Moose
2. Wolverine
3. Lynx
4. Arctic Wolf
5. Arctic Fox

I'm only gonna do animals from the DLC, if we get a PZ2, I think it's safe to say that the majority of the base game animals will have a return.

1. California Sea Lion
2. King penguin
3. Emu
4. Red river hog
5. Capybara
6. Kiwi
7. Giant anteater
8. Nine-banded armadillo
9. Brown-throated sloth
10. Red-crowned crane
11. Takin
12. Malayan Tapir
13. White rhinoceros

15. Komodo dragon
16. Przewalski's Horse
17. Southern Cassowary
18. Babirussa
19. Siamang
20. Koala

I definitely think that all the DLC animals should return. How? Don't know, maybe through a discounted DLC? or a free update? That's a discussion on it's own. The thing I love about PZ is the enormous animal diversity you have right now. It would be a real shame if none of them make a come back in a potential PZ2. So many DLC animals are good choices, for a very big variety. At this point Frontier should just stop and make PZ2 and if they work on PZ2...LISTEN TO THE FANS! they critisize for a reason, cause they love the game.

1.African Wild Dog

There's probably >100 animals I'd be really bummed about if they didn't make it into the game one way or another, but I think the ones most in danger are some of the less popular, non-essential base game animals that aren't seen as popular choices.

Some of these I can live without if we get some more appealing alternatives: Sable Antelope, Springbok, Black Wildebeest (I like the blue one much more), Gharial, Aldabra Giant Tortoise or Nile Monitor.

And I also think others like Japanese Macaque, Indian Peafowl, Baird's Tapir, Okapi or Aardvark are relatively safe/essential enough for Frontier to include them again.

But the ones that would really sting for me include Gemsbok, Pronghorn, Bonobo, Bongo (!), Nyala, Thomson's Gazelle, African Wild Dog and Pangolin. Those are not very frequently talked about or all too popular on YouTube and are animals that I can see not making the cut (maybe the wild dog less so than the others).

I'd imagine that out of the DLCs, choices that might not make it anymore are those that got more appealing alternatives down the road: Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman, Dall Sheep, Proboscis Monkey, Nile Lechwe, Scimitar-Horned Oryx, Striped Skunk or Red Deer come to mind.

If I could "save" some animals, it would be the oddballs (i.e. animals that probably weren't in the Top 50 of the most requested animals at the time of their inclusion and that I was positively surprised Frontier added to begin with), but that are among my favorites in the game:
1. Southern Cassowary
2. Binturong
3. Dhole
4. Sun Bear
5. Fennec Fox
6. Black-Tailed Prairie Dog
7. European Badger (don't they dare...)
8. Red-Crowned Crane
9. Bongo
10. Addax
11. Somali Wild Donkey
12. Little Blue Penguin
13. Saiga
14. Wisent
15. Markhor
16. Babirusa (DON'T THEY DARE)
17. White-Faced Saki
18. Nilgai
19. Blackbuck
20. Red Fox (honorable mention: Arctic Fox)

I wouldn't forgive Frontier for not including all the pigs again. There's not a single one i want to lose. I'd only allow them to change the domestic species. (Also: having both donkeys again would be great, I love them so much.)

So, I thought about it for a bit now.
I have some animals I really don't want to miss personally in PZ 2. However, I found that for some of them, I don't really build that much. So if Frontier uses this data to determine which animals should be readded (in base game or down the line) I am in trouble.

11. Sloth
12. Red Crowned Crane
13. Swan
14. Sloth Bear
15. Asian Small Clawed Otter
16. European Badger
17. Koala
18. Armadillo
19. Red Fox
20. Arctic Fox
I'd sacrifice the European Badger now to put the Raccoon Dog on the "save" list. Vital for me now.

Here’s my crack. I won’t include animals that are pretty much guaranteed for base game.

1. Common Hippopotamus (yes, I know it’s ALMOST a shoe in for base game. But with the recent popularity of the Pygmy Hippopotamus over the Common Hippopotamus, I need to put this one first)
2. Striped Skunk
3. Wisent
4. Siberian Tiger
5. California Sea Lion
6. Wild Boar
7. Red River Hog
8. White Rhinoceros
9. Red Deer
10. European Fallow Deer
11. Okapi
12. Bongo
13. Gemsbok
14. Scimitar Horned Oryx
15. Nilgai
16. Indian Rhinoceros
17. Bactrian Camel (just an infinitely better model please)
18. Przewalski’s Horse
19. Spectacled Bear
20. African Penguin

  1. Platypus
  2. Tasmanian Devil
  3. Common Wombat
  4. Koala
  5. Red-necked Wallaby
  6. Quokka
  7. Spotted Hyena
  8. Dingo
  9. Maned Wolf
  10. Sun Bear
  11. North Sulawesi Babirusa
  12. European Fallow Deer
  13. Water Buffalo (wild or not)
  14. North Island Brown Kiwi
  15. Emu
  16. Southern Cassowary
  17. Little Penguin
  18. Saltwater Crocodile
  19. American Alligator
  20. Komodo Dragon
Essentially all my beloved Oceanian animals (excluding the red kangaroo because there’s no way they exclude it from the base game again, right??) + a few other favourites
