New ship: Panther Clipper

wow. so you have never seen star wars, alien,.aliens, terminator, T2, Predator or the 1982 (I think) the Thing?.

they are all utterly superb "moving pictures" (just trying to use terms you will understand ;)
My other halfs uncle, who's the lead model and animatronics maker in a lot of these films had an Alien alien in his garage...few years ago he had a clear out and sold it to a man in a pub for £200!!! I was gutted and furious. I'd give my left arm for one of those.
I really want the dalek that's in his house...and my other half would love the worm from the original Labyrinth :D

Not sure they class as "TV shows" though.
Like Catcher of Rats I don't watch much TV...movies yes, TV series, nope, better things to do with my time.

I'll have to bid against you for that Dalek...
I have a few TV Box sets (including the first Dr Who Specials) bought for me by friends & family over the years, on the whole they were the right gifts for someone who missed the content (Firefly was spot on!)

wow I would have loved that as well . my mates uncle has a custom made metal "lifesize" alien in his lounge. it is incredible, but to have a genuine one? that would be so cool. I have bought and rebought the alien films so many times

Take notice ot the width: sooo much wasted space in being elegant and streamlined blah blah. You could put three full hulls in this 111.1m that Cutter needs to enter.
This is a better example what volume a boxy hauler could have: the lines are exactly the width, height and length of a Cutter, no squeezing needed.

I think the PC Mk II has the full width, but not the full length.

Next week wenenenesday!
Looking forward to see if Fdev release some stats on it and maybe show a shipkit that covers up that anorexic belly.

I'd 3d model some kind of example and photoshop it over but I was occupied with UV unwrapping a human foot, and 3d modelling some piping flanges and a pipe valve...

Also curious to see what the bridge looks like in its finished state!

We may be shown just the view from the cockpit ...

I'm so hyped for the Panther. Been needing a bigger cargo ship since I started and this looks incredible. Haven't been this excited since skyrim.

Try not to get your hopes up too high. Elite Dangerous (ED) has a well-documented history of not always meeting player expectations. This often stems from either technical limitations or the developers' own distinct visions for the game. For instance, I recall the carriers and the misleading promise that Odyssey wouldn't demand better hardware, which was a disaster upon release.
Regarding the PC, I'm quite ambivalent. I'm unsure if I genuinely need it. It might be useful for completing my colonization project, but beyond that, its utility is questionable for me. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what they actually deliver initially.

To increase PC sales for ARXs we will wait for the trade CG

I mean i will buy it anyway for arx when it will be available. Every 3-4months paying for game maintanance to FD is no biggie. I got in mind that as corsair i do not find use for it rn with my activities in game, aestetics for me it is mech ship, and i have ship for everything i do. I just bought standard version, tryied it and sold it. Have it in undeployed state rn, perhaps in future i will find use for it.
