On wednesday we got the cover of the new DLC! We'll get Honey Badger (number 14), Lion-Tailed Macaque (39) and (?)Borneo Elephant(338)(?). Lion-Tailed Macaque has been getting a lot of votes lately which shows it's worth taking part in the list. What animals are you still waiting for?

If a subspecies of Asian elephant will to be there while the region of the current (Indian elephant) didn't Borneo and Sri Lanka (right?), then my other wanted and hoped for beside American black bear (guess why) will be African forest elephant.

And cougar there wasn't given a full subspecies name. Do all cougar subspecies live or adapt in the same biomes? Probably.minus Florida panther if that count as cougar subspecies.

I did not count the honet badger, because it is confirmed, but I did count the lion-tailed macaque, because we only have a sillouhete so it might turn out to be something else.

Did you count the fish as well? I don't see any sharks or rays in this table.

I just don't know what to do with fully aquatic animals. Random goat added some of them to the list so I left them but I won't add new species. I'm wondering if I shouldn't just remove fish from the list
I don’t see the point. I mean, we won’t get those species in habitats for PZ1, and we can’t vote for flying birds either so shouldn’t fully aquatic animals be treated the same? Also, the new game will definitely have a different list, since some people voting here won’t buy the new game, some species we currently have in-game might not be included there, so they’ll be missing from the list even if they’re really popular...... i feel like its just a nule vote people get baited into vote for them since they can but they wont show up

so you think we should remove fully aquatic animals from the list? I would still leave aquatic mammals like manatee (I can see the possibility that they might appear) but I don't count on fish at all

its just my opinion but yes the thing is that those people then should be able to add another animal but that would give you alot of work xD even manatees i dont see them being added they do need a selling point for pz2 and at this point they have less and less and manatee is full aquatic so if we get that one there is no reason to not get others even see turtles realistic speaking we wont get them

Please keep the fish on the list.

It seems kinda weird to omit all the fish but have manatees on the list.

Edit: this was meant to convince people to include fish, not to axe manatees from the wishlist.

unlikely since they were not included in the list this a continuation of

anything fully aquatic wasnt allowed on the original list same with any flying birds that were not waterfowl or similarly aquatic birds the only exception seemed to be the manatee which itself is controversial if this is truly a continuation of the list the rules shouldnt change now.

eh sea turtles and mantees have one key difference they can and do go on land and not just for breeding green sea turtles in hawaii do go on land to sunbathe
I really think we should leave them. This data will be vital for the sequel. Lowkey we should add flying birds.
this list cannot and should not be used for accurate sequel predications or data since it is contextually in a different position the over 200 animals we already have will warp priorities and shift what people want. Letting people pick animals that quite literally would not function ingame without a major overhaul weakens the quality of the data when used to assess the wants for the current game which what this list was designed to do. we also would effectively be splitting the data into 2 points which defeats the purpose of a continuation entirely and this may aswell be a new list.
Please keep the fish on the list.

I agree manatee should never have been on this list and needs to be removed. I am sorry to disappoint you but we literally have no ingame mechanics for fully aquatic animals larger than a home aquarium fish so they are beyond even flying birds in terms of unrealistic and unviable and have no place on a list designed to support and predict the wants of the community for this current iteration of planet zoo.
