Frontier, Can we get carrier admin in our systems? It will bring in people to shop. AND why is system colonisation suspended on fleet carriers? Are you planning to add that feature in the future??
Did you try to raise numbers ? Original admins are in top-developed systems. Probably, it will unlock itself once you get to tops.
 
Beta must be getting close to being finished. My summary thts:
-I'm enjoying it. A great update! However pls consider:
-increase colonization range to at least 30LY ideally 50LY
-adjust screens and tower on orbital construction sites so T9's and new panther clipper doesn't always get caught up on auto pilot.
-put prison ships and carrier admin in some of the larger systems at the edge of current colony frontiers so we don't need to travel 1000's of LY to get back to where we were
-allow CMM's and ceramics to spawn in T3 orbitals if there is say 1 strong refinery link to the T3
-get awarded say 3 tier 2 points once you finish a T3. Good for limited systems of which there are a lot.
-allow deletion of a structure even once construction has commenced or it is completed.
-it would be fantastic if we could chose the location of the primary port. Maybe pay Brewer corp a fee to do so? Allows a lot more flexibility in system design.
Deletion or decommissioning of installations, outposts etc has to be a low hanging fruit for FDEV which would immediately qualify for a big win win under the next quality of life patch made. C'Mon FDEV.!!!

While I agree with the commander requests, I somehow think that we only need a functionality or an automatic setting to abandon things; akin to the deserted towns issue in the wild west during colonisation.
We are playing inside a simulation anyway.

Just popping this in between shifts so typing and thoughts a bit crappy but in this simple chefs mind how about a poll is put together for top 3 priorities that need addressing in colonisation and a commitment from devs to provide feedback on implemnentation. All commanders get chance to submit say 5 each from a list and the top 3 are selected. Im sure this could be refined by greater minds than mine but you get my drift I hope.

How would we feel if we didn’t get a delete option but instead we got a deconstruct option where you have to take the materials away load by load?
It's the same just more clicking. The materials aren't worth much so we'll just sit there on the pad. Load the ship. Dump onto the pad. Get fined and repeat until the goods are all gone then go recover out standing by building the intended thing. If they block us from dumping onto the pad we just dump into space as close as we can.

Definitely a viable FDev approach then? ;)

Though in many cases the problem is placement not removal.
So maybe a 'relocate' option would be more appropriate? For a price Brewer will come and tow yr orbital outpost/station/installation to a different spot?
Can't see it working for planetside assets but then the implementation of these is pretty poor to start with.

I heard the Panther Clipper Mk II offers both towbar and planetary scale jackhammer options - or was that one of those vivid dream things? 🤷‍♂️

My issues are all removal. I don't need things moved I just want them gone.

I'd be happy with both features but if I had to pick just one. Removal allows me to get rid of stuff that's built up and reposition things. Reposition doesn't let me remove things.
 
I build a Extraction Hub on a planet, but the Orbital Station (Asteroid Base) shows a strong Tourist Link instead!

Planets have to much say on what happens to stations. Case in point I have a station with 8 links, 4 of which are linked strongly/weak linked to service outposts and installations (all pirate) as well as 2 tourist and 1 farm. Just because the station orbits a high metal content world, which by the way the game won't let me land on and develop, it goes and ignores all the links above and makes it an extraction economy. Why? There is no and cannot be any industry there. Useless to me frankly (see picture attached).

I think i'm fed up with colonisation and ED at the moment sadly. I've made some stations, worked away and built up a little empire but annoyingly feel underwhelmed by the results for the most part given the work put in. To labour my cooking background, its sadly half baked and incidentally, I don't feel inclined to spend real money on ARX to beautify stations that aren't working...

I think ill finish the project I'm working on as I hate to leave things unfinished then I'm going to walk away from elite for a while which makes me really sad as I've backed this game since the kickstarter days so I'm a signed up game supporter. Don't mind my moan but I'm disappointed with the unfulfillment of all the potential. You all know what I'm talking about.
