A very big congrats to all today's winners! I'm so happy it was finally my turn.
It's definitely a lot more mundane, but I think at this point my pick becomes the American black bear. It certainly stands in a league of its own in terms of how important it is for me at this point.

So...
I kinda forgot what mine was. But the way DLCs have been, with several filler species but also adding some to underrepresented groups (primates. I'm talking primates), I could see just about anything coming at this point.
While all y'all know that I have a soft spot for the gray fox, my most wanted animal has to be the American black bear. In terms of the game, it'll add much more than the fox, its a keystone NA animal, and it's THE American bear. Since I have finally got my beloved Père David’s deer please change my most wanted animal to Golden snub nosed monkey.
Genuinely happy for all of you, but……. man this is getting soul crushing.
Why?
Just years of waiting for a duck, it’s kind of hard to just hope for a change every DLC and get very little. I mean, I was happy with the Rhea and new flamingo, but I also kind of get how they are nothing revolutionary.
But I just want a duck, any duck at this point. It’s weird what is a common zoo animal might just never come to PZ. I can hold on to hope for a sequel, but they aren’t guaranteed for a sequel.
Getting the mute swan kind of felt like teasing at this point, Frontier can make amazing waterfowl but they won’t for some metric we will never know.

Which duck would make you happy?
I’m not a huge fan of waterfowl but I’m crazy about Nene and their conservation story and of course all pelicans.

I really want a tropical duck, especially as the mute swan already kind of covers a temperate climate. Either way I love seeing waterfowl in zoos, so having only the mute swan is kind of crazy. Which is part of the reason why I get a little bitter over animal choices, I don’t want to direct the energy towards anyone, but when Frontier can add multiple antelope, dogs, bears, elephants, etc. and we are still waiting for our second waterfowl species. It’s kind of hard not to be a bit bitter. Especially when it’s not guaranteed I will get a duck in the sequel. Which means I would have to wait all over again potentially.
This one is great because it cover both SA and Africa if I can remember correctly.
I still feel them keep most of the birds for the sequel.
That’s my theory too, but it really sucks when the animals you want are the ones decided to be “popular enough” to be sequel material
I think birds would be the main selling point of PZ2 that’s why they are so careful with adding them now. But one duck wouldn’t hurt nobody right?

Can we add a roadrunner? My most wanted bird came in the Americas pack, after allI think birds would be the main selling point of PZ2 that’s why they are so careful with adding them now. But one duck wouldn’t hurt nobody right?

I want the chameleon. Any chameleon at this point. Literally the most recognizable and well known lizard out there, even people who don't know or like reptiles have heard of them. And theres so many different species out there. Some of which are so critically endangered that theyre almost extinct and most of which arent even in conservation programs despite that.
And frilled lizards as a walkthrough, because they're practically the closest to a dinosaur we have currently alive. And have way different behaviour then most species of lizards and with unique physical traits.
Fiji-banded Iguana. The green iguana i understand as its iconic of the species, but they seriously gave us the lesser antillean iguana instead? And while its not critically endangered its still endangered and the numbers are falling. They also look like an iguana and a chameleon had a one night stand. And they're rare to see in zoos because of their population decline

Himalayan Tahr (NT)
Satyr Tragopan (NT) yes its a bird but its a terrestrial one so....
Blue Crane (Vu)
Malagasy Civet (Vu)
Spotted Pond Turtle (En)
Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Fox(En) Who doesn't want a bat bigger then some people (Av Human height male: 175cm (5.9ft), female 162cm (5.4ft). Average bat? wingspan of 150-170cm (5-5.5ft)
Blue-Eyed Black Lemur (Cr) Like have you seen these guys? absolutely stunning. The ONE lemur I actually want in the game of course they dont include.
Mongoose Lemur (Cr)
Some birds, though i understand that at this point thats just wishful thinking, like:
Anhinga (just check out their unique swimming that gave them the nickname snakebird)
Bearded Vulture (only known animal that primarily eats bones, 90-95% of its diet. And it wears makeup to be more appealing to females lol. Plus vultures in general are awesome)
Nicobar Pigeon (if someone drew a bird on hallucinogenics this would be what they ended up with)
Crowned Eagle
Harpy Eagle
African Sacred Ibis
Spectacled Owl
I still cant believe that we got butterflies for the walkthrough exhibits instead of birds. I like the butterflies, but for a zoo theyre pretty neh.
