Screw it this is going to be the first animal I build for. Going to put the Nilgai with the twilight set. Now I just need to find lesbian animals to pair it with. What animals in the game are lesbian?
But they’re glow in the dark..
Bonobos are the easy, obvious answer. Seems like it's not unheard of across many species though, perhaps notably including Japanese macaques, koalas, and penguins.
Penguins probably...?
If it's a light, you can turn it off. There's options to do that. So it's not that big of a deal

Off of the top of my head bats, pretty much all the penguins, waterfowl (well, our single waterfowl), and ratites, bonobos, (and I'm sure the other great apes), caribou, wolves, giraffes, elephants, lions... I could keep going. Chances are, nearly all of them are gonna be; it's just a matter of whether that behavior has been widely documented (and not erased) or not.
If you want the absolute icons that are well known for it, definitely penguins though (not in game but shout out to albatrosses, one of the gayest animals ever I love them sm). :>

Speaking of: my local zoo has what I can only describe as a bisexual Sitatunga. I observed her trying to mate with other females but also being receptive to the advances of a male... So I think a lot of ungulates could be.
(also the zoo has two gay Eclectus parrots and possibly a gay mixed species pair of a Wandering Whistling Duck and Wood Duck)

I think all the pieces designers were fired after the Barnyard animal pack...
After watching it as well I agree as long as you have the option to make them not glow in the dark. I assume you would, I hope you would, if not then that hurts the pieces for me.
All the animals looks amazing. The free butterfly is a really nice surprise.
The building pieces are cool, but I wish we could get like a “nature” theme next time, with new rocks, more faux tree variations, mud walls, anti collision bird signs and so on, you know, basic zoo stuff like that. The last three themes look all kind of similar and blends together to me.
Overall, I am excited for the pack. I wont have much time to play tomorrow, but I hope for at least a quick look at the stuff.

I just saw in a video that the new elephant can use the keyboard enrichment... Can't wait for my musical elephant
Also... We got a proper white elephant.
It's ironic, cause the idiom "white elephant" means:
"a possession that is useless or troublesome, especially one that is expensive to maintain or difficult to dispose of."
...and I think that, for many people, the Borneo elephant fits the definition quite well.

All the animals are looking fantastic and I'll never thank Frontier enough for the nilgai

I'm not going to be negative about the pieces. Some of them will be very useful for building our Indian/Asian areas. But it's true that I think we've received enough big flowers and festive scenery pieces now. If there's a next pack, I really hope we can come back to more generic zoo scenery (or African scenery if we're getting a safari/Africa pack).

The animals look great. I’m even considering including the elephant as a form of exposure therapy. The deer might be my new favourite animal in the game.
But the building pieces are so underwhelming. Still more miscellaneous theme park bits rather than things for zoos.
And the use of random squiggles and ampersands on their side as ‘Asian’ language is pretty unimpressive to say the least.

The led pieces indeed can be turned off, the other lantern pieces at least at this moment in time cannot. Hopefully that's something that can be changed after release!
