Here's my ranking of the new animals now that we've gotten a better look at them;
Honey badger: The only animal in this pack that was on my wishlist unsurprisingly ended up my favorite of this pack. It looks fantastic, I love its little trot... no notes. 5/5.
Lion-tailed macaque: This one wasn't on my wishlist, but the more I look at it, the more I like it, to the point where I'm surprised it wasn't really on my radar! I feel like it'll genuinely be one of my favorites to use whenever I get my hands on this pack, same as the Hamadryas. 5/5.
Japanese raccoon dog: I'm of the opinion that we really, really don't need anymore dogs after the Americas pack, but... this one is acceptable, I guess. It's cute and distinct. Not personally super exciting to me, but if we had to get another dog, sure. But, really, no more, Frontier. Please. 3/5.
Blackbuck: I didn't really get the hype for this one, but don't mind its inclusion at all. As far as antelope go, it's unique-looking. Meh. 3/5.
Nilgai: Uh... see above. Neat antelope. Wasn't hyped for it. Not upset by it. That's it... 3/5.
Pere David's Deer: I understand that this species is significant culturally and for its conservation story, but… I’m sorry, guys, that is all is has going for it. I’m already not a fan of deer, and this one is so plain… that being said, though, I don’t hate it, and I’m glad for everyone who did want it. So… 2/5.
Bornean pygmy elephant: 1/5.
Malabar rose butterfly: Heck yeah, a new butterfly! And a very nice-looking one, too! More varieties in our butterfly houses is certainly a good thing, and I’d honestly love to see more in future updates. Madagascan sunset moth next? 4/5.
