Rocky world with little or no surface metal content

As per title, I found this system and was thinking to claim it with a Coriolis:

My first build on a rocky planet, so I don't know what will that Coriolis instantly have:
1) will it have The Big Metal group and LOX, etc?
2) if not, will the Refinery hub on the planet help as a next build (to dig metallic core), or what...?

It's got biology so that makes it complicated. It may have a lot of stuff. It will lose a bunch of stuff and every time you build in the system what it has could change. A refinery hub on the planet will help it have more stuff but it'll likely never have everything a refinery can produce becase biology adds additional markets.

You have two orbital slots. You could build a T1 Outpost orbital with Colony economy and see what goods are available, as that costs less than a Coriolis. If you get what you want in terms of goods output, you can always build the Coriolis afterwards in the second slot.

With bio-signals on a rocky world, you'll get Agriculture, Refinery and Terraforming components to your economy (plus whatever weak links are coming in from elsewhere in the system, but let's assume there's nothing important in that for now)

The various bulk colonisation metals and Liquid Oxygen will be exported from that (Refinery produces them, neither of the others imports them). The ones you may have problems with exporting, because either Terraforming or Agricultural imports them, are:
- Semiconductors
- Polymers
- Superconductors
- Synthetic Fabrics
- Surface Stabilisers (orbital ports will export these fine as they're only imported by surface economies)

Adding extra Refinery hubs might help with the missing ones by increasing the proportion of your economy which is Refinery, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work - Semiconductors in particular are really difficult to export from mixed economies.

Thank you all! (y)

I might just pass this finicky system, found a solid one near buy, with a nice clean HMC as a staring colonization point.
I will build a Coriolis as the claiming installation, with all the Large Metal Haul there - AFAIK it doesn't count later, will not raise the points needed. (am I right in that? that's my whole point to start with Coriolis)

again, huge THX to all three!

HMCs are Extraction economy rather than Refinery, so if you want metals exported rather than metal ores that won't be all that helpful.

(Extraction doesn't get in the way of building a Refinery later too much, because the only Refinery export it imports is Explosives, but you really want a rocky world rather than a HMC if you can find one)

I had very good experiences with HMCs, with just a Refinery hub and a Civilian port. These ports instantly started to produce LOX, CMM Composites, Polymers, Copper, Aluminium, Titanium, Steel in ample amounts, more than enough to have them all in-system for further build, 80% of everything needed. Then when I built a Coriolis above, it still had that large metal supply - perfect for developing the system in-house, no need for jumps.

I have a good rocky in this new system, it will be the next one to tackle.
