Summary
System: Many, see description
Station: Several (See description)
Objective: Fight for Aisling Duval in the Power Conflict Zones
Time limit: 17th July 3311 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Princess Aisling Duval has issued a call to arms to repel Federal and corporate aggression.
Following hostile operations by Jerome Archer and Li Yong-Rui in nearby sectors, Duval's loyalists are calling upon independent pilots to support defensive efforts and maintain Imperial influence in the region.
Pilots may contribute to this initiative by first signing up and then destroying Jerome Archer or Li Yong-Rui aligned vessels at Power Conflict Zones.
Power conflict zones may be found at the front lines of Aisling's defence:
Jerome Archer's forces:
  • Santy - Noakes City, Szilard Terminal, the Onyx Bastion
  • LTT 7509 - Sharman Installation
  • LHS 6031 - Dobrovolskiy Station
Li Yong-Rui's forces:
  • Gondul - Bessel Landing, Fiorilla Dock, the Obsidian Directive
  • Daikulcandi - Krenkel Station
  • Rho Tucanae - Lewis Survey
Note that no fire zones will not be enforced at these locations, although firing directly at stations will still result in a robust response.
Pilots who register at least 1 contribution will receive the following rewards, regardless of which side wins:
  • 1x (2x for top 75% and above) of each 1E/3C Gimballed Fragment Cannons, pre-engineered with Double shot and High capacity modifications.
  • Credits, depending on success tier achieved and individual contribution level.

    Stat breakdown:
    Burst rate of fire +1400%
    Burst size +2
    Reload time -50%
    Maximum range -10%
    Clip size +8
    Ammo capacity +68%
    Power draw +20%
    Mass +60%

The Screening Shell Experimental will also be included.
If Princess Aisling Duval emerges victorious, those who are specifically pledged to Aisling Duval will also receive:
  • 40,000 merits
  • Aisling Powerplay banner cockpit customisation
Aisling's forces have set out a two-week long operation to establish their authority, which begins on the 3rd of July 3311.
To be eligible for rewards, Pilots must sign up as an active participant before destroying Jerome Archer or Li Yong-Rui aligned vessels at Power Conflict Zones.
This is a competitive initiative. You may only sign up for one side at a time. You may switch sides by abandoning the goal, but note that any existing contributions will be forfeited.
Commander power pledges will be taken as the pledged power at the time of initiative completion.
Contributions will update at an interval of approximately 5 minutes.
Notes:
  • Competing with Jerome Archer & Li Yong-Rui CGs
  • Sign up anywhere, kills automatically tracked, nothing to hand in

@Kietrax Now we can deploy our weapons in conflict zone stations, but can't deploy NPC Fighter. Can you fix?

Checking, please hold ...

In the meantime, can't you just fly further away (so you are outside the disabled No Fire zone) deploy and then come back? Apologies if that's a stupid suggestion - been a while since I made it in game and even then, never had an NPC Fighter so ...

I did that method. But no-fire-zone is quite wide, so not-little time was wasted. I wish it will be fixed soon.

maybe not set the station to annihilate upon accidental misfire, but rather give us a chance to escape and pay the fine or whatever, happy to say i can revive my slf pilot nowadays though.
edit: oh but you do respawn at the combat station, very nice

Ugh. To be honest, I hate this. Being forced to farm impossibly tanked tiny ships is such an enormous slog.

Anyone have tips for which ship and setup does this best? I'm thinking slugconda, but I'm open to suggestions.

I'm using an "imperial-refitted" corvette with a large MC, Large pulse, beams, and rails on the small slot. With short range engineered so everything but the rails has about 2km range. MC and rails to take out the powerplant once shields are down. It's not super pretty but the damage bonuses plus powerplant targetting have a pretty decent ttk.

Do you have to be pledged to one of these powers? I showed up at one of the conflict zones (noakes city), but I don’t get the option to join one of these sides like regular CZs. I killed some of the archer ships but don’t seem to be getting any bonds.

No, just start shooting. Optionally, scan first, so you know who you're shooting.
The left-hand transactions panel is VERY slow to update, so to check CG progress, either dock and check the mission board, or relog.

Okay thanks. I relogged and I actually do see contribution to the CG, without getting any actual bonds and without handing anything in. You don’t even get a choice to join a particular side when approaching the CZ like usual? Just seems kinda wonky..

I would have to agree because I hate space CZs.

They only reason I'll do this is because I'm currently pledged to AD and the merits and the cockpit sticker are most welcome.
Enjoy :)
Since I am LYR, already at rank 100 and no chance of winning, I'm probably skipping the whole thing. Not very interested in the rags either, frags are my least favorite weapon in the whole game, with Pacifiers as minor exception.
