If you are like me and haven't logged into legacy ED since Ody dropped, you might want to check on your FC. It's still paying for it's weekly upkeep. I just logged in to legacy yesterday for the heck of it and I noticed that my credit balance was definitely affected by all those weeks of upkeep going unnoticed, so I thought I'd pass this along in the hopes of preventing someone from inadvertently losing their FC.

I've never logged into legacy. I guess most people don't care about their legacy save.
Why would someone care if they haven't logged in to legacy in nearly 3 years? Let it expire instead of clogging up the galaxy that you don't even play in.
Same here, haven't logged into Legacy since the Odyssey Beta, to me it's a different game that I have stopped playing, it's like going back other old games, Atlantica Online or Guild Wars 2 that I no longer play, why would I log in?
If someone cared about their legacy save, they probably would be playing in it regardless.
I care about my legacy save and I didn't want to lose my FC, so I posted this. Please move on.
Sorry, i'm confused. Are you saying you don't play Legacy but you still care about the FC there?
The last times I logged into Legacy I sold off my Tritium and decomissioned the carriers afterwards... 
I decommissioned mine in Legacy so as to not leave any unwanted clutter for Legacy players very soon after it split into live & legacy.
Most people who play Live wont care. I don't. Only time I logged into Legacy some time ago was to sell off my Tritium stock to a Legacy CMDR. I so don't care about it.
That's a nice thought. Should have done the same. Guess mine ran out of funds long ago though and sold off automatically.

Thought: should we all be decommissioning our Carriers and selling off ships in Legacy to lighten the load? Should we delete our legacy accounts / reset them? I can't see any reason why I'd ever go back...

Appreciate the heads up but i have no intention of going back to Legacy, Ody is just way better imo.

FWIW, I also sold my carrier before abandoning legacy. Seeing the carrier clutter I thought that was the minimum I could do for those that continue playing it.
