COMPLETED CG Join Aisling Duval's Call To Arms (Combat)

Let me guess: the PF bonds don't count, right?

Does anyone have any advice for this CG? Not a great combat pilot here but I have never died this fast in my life. I keep getting jumped by multiple engineered ships simultaneously. I'm getting really tired of hearing "Warning, Shield Breach Attack. Shields Down. Eject, Eject, Eject" as fast as the game can play the audio files.
 
This CZ felt weird.
Usually I can cruise around with my sluggish Conda shield tank and pick out targets. But midway through the Cz or after about 30 min of Cz? Suddenly every enemy turned on me and targetted me. Suddenly my shields began to go down a lot faster than usual.
And no it wasn’t the spaceport firing at me. Since I’ve been very careful not to shoot at it.

Stop shooting at the megaship. If you hit the megaship it will respond with shield breach attacks
 
Open the side panel and check if the station/megaship is hostile (pretty sure it is, as mentioned by others

If that's the case jump out of the instance and back to reset it
 
Do we even get anything extra for completing the bonus objectives like destroying spec ops and opposing correspondents?
 
No. I'm starting to think that something is not functioning as intended because this is way too consistent.
As someone mentioned, the game log files could be checked to see if you got the warning from the station. (Some third-party programs make this much easier.)

I don't know if it will show that the station started shooting at you, though.

As mentioned, this usually happens when you accidently shoot the station. To recap: The journal is in "Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous" in your user's folder. Look for events surrounding the "died" event. In my case, it looks like this when I shot the station:

CZs have always had a bug where they can suddenly glitch and turn everyone, even friendlies, into hostiles. Only thing you can do is wake out and back in again to reset it.
 
Shield generator attacks are quite annoying. No matter how much shields you have, no matter how many and how strong shield boosters you have, your shields go down in seconds. After that the conflict is over for you quite quickly before you have to leave or get destroyed...

Curiously, this is the first time I see such an attack in the game. I'm used for my plentiful of shields to last for 5-10 minutes of combat before they go down. Now when such an attack starts they go down in mere seconds. Frustrating.
Indeed, i found that out the hard way.
I have a Python Mk2 with grade 6 prismatics; Reinforced level 5, high Cap.
Also two Hull reinforcements, two module reinforcements, a cell bank, and five shield boosters.
Yet with this attack, my shields, and ship go down so fast, i don't even get the chance to run away.
I made it in the top 75 anyway.
I might switch to my Cobra Mk5, which is cheaper to rebuy, and can boost away a lot faster.
