Animals we already got will be saved for that as well... So again, why not now.
Like we've seen with JWE3 (in fact today with a new species showcase), its also important to have brand new ones not added in the first game
Yes. I meant animals we already have will be saved for sequel's dlc as well. I agree that some new animals should be added into base game, but i doubt that is a reason to not add an animal in pz1. Is not like one animal will be the deciding factor for someone wondering if they should get the game or not.

No. I'm personally sure of it but there is no official confirmation. But tbh i don't think we'll ever get confirmation, just implied through silence and innactivity.
Coastal pack. One of my most wanted themes: pelican, sea otter, a couple of pinnipeds (hooded seal, harp seal, ribbon seal, elephant seal, southamerican sea lion, leopard seal ,walrus), rockhopper penguin, atlantic puffin, king eider and if we are talking for sequel then manatee, sea turtle, sharks.

Manatees could even work in PZ1 I think they sometimes crawl on land (not as comfortably as pinnipeds, but fare more than cetaceans).
The only land interaction I know of with manatees is the rare time they browse from coastal vegetations above water. They never go onto land surfaces for any purpose

Every time this topic comes up, I’m reminded of the same theory that I came up with: we won’t get another anniversary animal in the same family or with the same rig.

- Anteater (depending on if they can make a smaller anteater rig that can climb for the tamandua)
- Mongoose (based of the meerkat rig)
- Waterfowl
- Equines
- Giraffes
If they gave us that but didn't update the pangolin to climb I'd be p*ssed. I love the pangolin but using it breaks my immersion.
That said I would like a tamandua, but I don't think it'll come as a free animal.
I really would Like to See the American Black Bear. Not so difficult to make but If they give us the huge amount of different color variations that would be super cool. And WE would finally have all 8 Bear species within the Game.
My second choice would be the Serval. For me the Serval is the last missing cat species which feels Essential to me.
My third choice would be the Impala. Probably one of the Most known antelope species. It was never high on my wishlist but as an Anniversary present I would take it with joy

Now that is something I would love to see. It would be such a troll to the entire community by giving us something completely revolutionary impractical and unusable from a controversial yet highly requested group.
Planet Zoo didn't even have whales and fish yet so why blue whale? Anyone knew or guess why there weren't whales that were bigger than orcas in captivities?
