Will we ever get to post ideas and/or suggestions for JWE3 on JWE3's forum.
This is of concern to me as well. In 2023, Ubisoft shut down their online forum and moving their forums over to discord. When I went on their forum on discord it was considerably harder to use because of how Discord works. When I tried using it, I had a considerable amount of difficulty using it. It kept posting my comments multiple times, even though I wanted to post it once. To make matters worse, Ubisoft decided to give a bot/ AI free rain over regulating people's behavior and commentary in the forums, which kept marking my comments as spamming. Eventually, it threw me out of the forums with no warning, no explanation, no chance to explain myself, and no human involvement at all.
I am imploring to please consider to returning the regular forum for discussion on the game. I'm sorry, but it is unlikely that I'm using discord again; it is too difficult to use, and I was never able to use it in the ways I intended. If you are going to use it as a forum, please consider the following suggestions to help you avoid Ubisoft's mistakes:
-Please avoid over relying on bots or artificial intelligence to regulate the forum. Please have some people on the forum monitor the AI and have the ability to review and if necessary override it's actions to keep it in check to avoid negatively impacting the forums and limiting conversations in unnecessary ways.
-Please give people the chance to explain their behavior. If I were given the chance by Ubisoft, I would have happily explained to them and perhaps what happened could have been avoided. I know Discord does not require, but it's the right thing to do. Give them warnings from the moderators so they know there is an issue and they change their behavior without needing to worry about the bot's accuracy.
-Consider having one of your human moderators reach out explain why they are being kicked out. This will help maintain Frontier's transparency and professionalism, while giving them the opportunity to find out why they were thrown out.
