Panther Clipper MK II | Highlights

It'll be easier than you think. (and if the moneyz is no problem).

Dock at Jameson's and call all of your storage ships there. Sift through them, see what's where and how many Type-10s you need. Then purchase those Types, name them in order, transfer all into 1st, then the 2nd and so on, and sell the old lot.

It will take less than an hour.

so are you recommending we purchase 10 panther clippers and name them 1st , 2nd, 3rd, etc. all at the same time?
that will create a lot of engineering work lol

All joking aside, I'm contemplating having 2: one stationed in the current colonization project at the Refinery station, second on my carrier for loading/unloading whatever I need or participating in CG-s. Maybe I should have a PC ready-to-go at every new colonization project I will undertake, less jumping around the carrier...

As for names for them, IDK, go with a royal theme: Queen Bertha I; Queen Bertha II etc🤪

Side note: I really hope we get a pink paint job🙃

I have a midnight black paint job from somewhere as I don't remember buying it. Seems like the natural colour for the panther.

Midnight black paint job for the panther mk2?!?
Preorder of ED Horizon got a set of midnight black PJs (I thought only for ships in game at the time, but I found a PJ for my mamba)...

I just want paint for it that doesn't look like the hull was pieced together from whatever scraps of sheet metal someone could find. All of them I've seen so far look like a patchwork quilt, I'd like it to actually look like molded single pieces.

At least, the Wepons clippimg thru the Hull. In the olden days, they damaged the Hull for real. Maybe its just a tribute to Clippers grandfather.
Who else thinks: Toad, when the Clipper is docked. I like it. Toad.

After the video for Ricardos Gaming... I like the Stellar build. Miss the D-rated sensors and lifesupport that are cheap to install, some Guardian FSD booster, and the addition of shield... ok, its for everyone, most veterans will drop it for cheap cargo rack. None of the changes are expensive, and the unengineered build with a Preengineered FSD with SCO and guardian FSD is great. Maybe I can fly this with only cheap G3-G4 pinned engineering, and deploy a new one if needed.

I cant wait to buy the 25% discount version in 3 months. :sneaky: ,and if lucky, afford a better paintjob that cover the whole ship.

There's some more info about the PC2 here: Ricardo

Some fitting info and whatnot. Video released today (16th July).
Ricardo's cargo build, with a 6A shield, and a class 5 Guardian FSD booster, had 1136 tons of cargo, with a max (not laden) jump of over 30 light years. Without the booster, about 20 light years, with no engineering. 1168 tons of cargo. 432 tons more than my T9, a rough 58% increase.

This makes it the cargo shuttle for my carrier.

I watched the Buur Pit video (

), and it is honestly a bit... disappointing? It is barely larger than a T9, and pretty agile. I was hoping for it to be as large as possible on a large pad, and fly like the lumbering beast it is supposed to be. At least that would give it a unique experience.

This is just a T9 but faster, more agile, more firepower, more cargo; generic powercreep without anything genuinely new to experience.
