Watching that thing tumble down just makes me wonder how epic this game would be if it had destructible ship pieces…
Indeed. Mind you, I did try this with the Anaconda (which has a damage model) but it was fairly unspectacular unfortunately.

Did they? Where did they hype it up to be a wow amount? The forum assumed, maybe.
To be fair, let’s look at the events leading up to that conversation. That conversation would not have happened at all had they not also released a new hauling grind, bigger than any hauling grind that existed before. I don’t think anyone would have complained about the 1200 cargo amount had the problem not been artificially created by the same people who are now (surprise!) offering a slight early reprieve for a few bucks.

You have way more than that already, it's called a fleet carrier.
In the early days of fleet carriers I saw one called "Panther Clipper". I wonder if it will get renamed?
Now they just need to allow us to transfer goods to it directly from the station markets the way we do with ships.
I’m surprised that they didn’t remove that option for ships in EDO so that we can instead move the individual bins ourselves, on foot, from the station to the ship’s cargo.

Nooo, make a noob hammer like appendage on the station you have to dock your carrier on to. Then you can just shovel the cargo down. How cool would that look.
