Heads Up: Panther Clipper Mk2 is EXPENSIVE! 1.1 Billion!

A heads up for those waiting to buy with credits instead of ARX...it's expensive...VERY expensive.
Base ship from Shin is 250m, Reactive armour is 620m.
So far it's cost me just over 1.1 billion credits for an A rated, heavily armoured trade Panther Clipper Mk2 with a prismatic shield.

I suspect when it comes out for credits in a few months there's going to be a lot of paper thin or poor builds flying around :D

So it's 250m pretty cheap. Most people will just run lightweight armour on it anyway because it has no mass and if you can fly a t9 safely then this doesn't need armour either.
Gankers in open are rubbing their hands with glee :ROFLMAO:
I never fly without reactive armour....even on my explorers and Exo ships.
If you're a solo or PG player then who gives a monkeys about armour and shields, or even A rated modules for that matter.

Nah, some people just don't credit grind and you don't get credits for PvP if that's what you happen to spend all your time doing. I'm playing since year 1 and I have about 15bn in assets and 2bn liquid. I will not grind gameplay I don't enjoy for credits.
Exactly.

If you're in this and they're ganking the armour isn't going to be a deciding factor they're either incompetent or you're dead.
You couldn't be more wrong imo.
Reactive is not only a lot better for increasing armour than lightweight it also has the best resistances all of the armour.
Shield and armour resistances make a HUGE difference.

It'll be more expensive at the moment, FDev have broken all the discounts. LYR and Jameson are not giving their 15% and 10% discounts on modules.

EDIT: It appears to be just the display of the discounts that is not working. After testing myself, and reports by several other Cmdrs., the discounts are actually still applied. Sorry for the false report.

I've just looked into this. From what I can see the bug only involves the display tags of the discount.
A 1D HRP is 15k normally.
I can purchase one from Shin for 12.8k.
My CMk5 has a 1D HRP and I can sell this for 12.8k.
Neither the HRP on my older CMk5 or newer PCMk2 have the % reductions tags in the modules description.

Well its currently the biggest ship now in ED 🤷‍♂️
I've made 2 billion on the current CG without trying (I'm guessing that's why FDev did this trade CG).
1 Billion isn't that much for those who have been playing a while and if your new, you see this as a top end ship like the Cutter.

That's A LOT of trade runs in 4-5 days, my guess is in solo or PG as well. Most people don't have that kind of time to play due to other commitments.

Yeah, I've since tested it and checked against EDSY prices, and you're correct, it's just the display that's not working. I've updated my post above to clarify this too.

credits are easy to get in this game. and pvp is irrelevent since most use the hacked fdl with infinite shields. or that "trainer" .. anyways its bound to happen bigger and better ships get more expensive . just hope the next big ship is a combat ship with mroe firepwoer than the corvette.

Always in Solo or PG for CGs (its a no brainer) - 3hours per night and some extra on Saturday.
This was in a 640T combat cutter.
