I still believe we won't get any more DLCs but of course I'd love to be wrong here
Imagine we'd really get a bird pack. There would be plenty of options for birds which don't require flying animations. A ground bird pack would boost our roster a lot without taking PZ2 the (assumed) big seling point fyling birds away.
I think this roster would please a lot of people:
1. Secretary bird (mascot) - personally I would not necessarily need it (I'd prefer a marabou stork or sth else) but it's probably the most requested bird of the community and a unique bird of prey
2. Grey crowned crane - a second crane is necessary imo, very striking and common in zoos
3. Hawaiian goose/Nene - maybe an oddball but great conservation success story and therefore belongs in a zoo game imo, not uncommon in zoos and gives representation for a totally new area plus we need more waterfowl
4. Great white pelican - do I have to say more? A pelican is mandatory and this is the most popular and common one
5. Golden pheasant - veeery common in zoos around the world, very eye-carching and we need a pheasant
6. Scarlet ibis - tbh I'm not the biggest fan of adding ibises without flying animations (because they nest high up in trees, for example and I have never seen ibises with clipped wings in zoos) but it still should work and they are just too iconic to ignore
7. American wood duck - I wanted to go for the mandarin duck first but mainland NA needs a bird, too, and they are probably the second most iconic and well known duck after the mandarin duck
Honourable mentions: white stork, black swan and magpie goose (I'm sorry Australians), wild turkey, marabou stork, shoebill, white-faced whistling duck (I'm sorry
@RightWhale ),...
