A Very British launch

Some people seem to think it was "Dull" (having looked at other threads after posting this). The is no accounting for taste... I suspect many of them are colonials ;)

Colonials wow really? LOL the food more than anything would be complain worthy.

I would have loved to have been there but you know logistics when coming from overseas can be a bit much.

That Cobra though.... man.. I wonder where that is going next. It would have come with me if I were there haha

I'm from Australia and I very much appreciated the understated style, unlike something you'd see from the other side of the Atlantic with reference to a particular game.

Aren't the British the ones that got beaten down by the American Colonists and forced to flee back to Britain? :) Yes, it was very British then.

If you are an example of the latter, I suspect that they were so annoying in general, that everyone (who wasn't either a native, or chained to something) left just to get some peace and quiet. And after a while, even most of the natives opted for the smallpox blankets rather than having to listen to any more of it...

As an American (as if it matters), I found the stream generally entertaining. I wasn't expecting a crazy energy-drink fueled party or anything of that sort. In the gamer community, you generally either have a bunch of awkward nerds or obnoxious MLG wannabes. Any stream with a distinct lack of the latter gets a thumbs up in my book.

Enjoyed the twitch stream (once the chat window was minimised)... thought it was very British too - a little awkward in places, but good content :)

I thought it was generally entertaining and worth a watch. After hiding the childish troll postings on the side, I was able to watch with my son who became very interested in it - he loves open world type games - so a win for me from that perspective.

I wasn't the worlds biggest fan of Jessica Chobot but I think she did a fairly good job tbh.

Actually the war was fought between the French and British Empires. Those blasted colonials just got in the way! :)

The reasons we left was because the fact all our tea was burnt in Boston. (We Brits must have our tea and tiffin) and the fact we couldnt get all of our soldiers from all the rest of the Empire to fight over a small part of it. If we could we would have enjoyed a 3-1 majority in numbers.

What a night . Was great to meet all . I'm actually still here . The night actually finished at 5 am this morning . All gone to bed and I slept in my truck . But what the he'll it was great

The premier was very British. Relaxed and slightly eccentric. Top Gear in space. I was expecting Jeremy Clarkson to leap out the back of the very awesome Cobra and yell 'More POWERR!
