I finally get to where I turn and can scan him and, yes, it was this guy you're talking about. I decided since I didn't want security to start shooting at me for shooting at security I decided to just go ahead and make my jump.

Are you pledged to a power (besides LYR)? In the scan, did they show up as "Enemy"?
If so, you can shoot them. You may get a fine for weapons discharge in the no fire zone, but that's it. System authorities otherwise don't meddle with PP.
Are you flying a ship painted in the same colour as an enemy/other power?

Yeah, there's also a lot of that 'Oh no you don't' and 'I strongly advise you against this' stuff going on too. Your friendly local NPC brigade out in force and all that. Ever since the powerplay update there's a lot more going on at stations, also more shooting.
My FC is still parked nearish to the core. I had to take a 2 hour flight in my Mandalay to come back to the bubble.

The CG has reached 25000 participants. According to the history on Inara that makes it the biggest CG in the entire history of ED. The previously biggest was the final attack on Cocijo with a little over 22000 participants.

A few trips earlier today in my T8 and brand spanking new, top of the line, state of the art T9, which is definitely not a flying pig, put me a few hundred above 50% and gives me a lot of space to go off and do bounty missions (almost exclusively in Nyx) or maybe fly off for a little exploration.

People like easy credits before a new expansion...doesn't get much easier than hauling commodities you can buy anywhere.

Nice rewards but I feel like 4 weeks of this is a long time, especially after just getting out of the previous one. Maybe 2 weeks, tops? Cos it's like... I don't wanna do it, but how can I turn down all that cash?! So I gotta do it, lol. Just my opinion.
It's the summer holidays in the UK.
For cash ? No, definitely not... All I'm interested in is the cargo racks, credits are more or less just an extra.
I guess I'd take part in the CG even if the prices and payment were much lower or even 0 ...
