Noticed this on facebook too. It's not looking good y'all. But what a run it's been! Also they announced the bundle for the Asia and Americas pack, I think that might be our news for this unlocked.

I don't get it, why is that a sign of an end?Noticed this on facebook too. It's not looking good y'all. But what a run it's been!
Well, some people simply don't want a PZ2 right now. I'm of course not against the idea of a PZ2 as it could bring a lot of things that can't be done in PZ1 but I'm part of those who won't buy the game as soon as it is released because I won't pay full price for a game that has less than half the species we have right now. I will wait at least a full year (if not 2) and buy the game during steam sales. It's something I didn't do for PZ1, I paid all DLCs full price.I don't know why you guys are getting so riled up about, no DLCs anymore just means they are putting 100% focus on Planet Zoo 2 and hopefully we have some news about it and meaning we will get it sooner rather than later, its great news! Planet Zoo was amazing and it has a ton of DLCs, its time to focus on the next game 100%.
But everyone would disagree on what these missing species areI agree that I'm not ready for Planet Zoo 2 either.
PZ1 really just needs about a dozen more species and maybe one more theme to feel like a complete roster (in the standard they set for themselves) and it'd be really irritating to stop here with one of their most lackluster packs imo when two more animal packs - if done correctly - could bring final closure to the game.
It was more of a reminder rather than an announcement we already knew when it was releasing. Also they announced the bundle for the Asia and Americas pack, I think that might be our news for this unlocked.
Absolutely. I'd argue that most of us would have said there were only ~10 species missing 4 DLCs ago - as long as they were the species each individual wanted. It won't stop me from hoping, but I'm at peace with the fact that I will never get every species that I want - partly because it's unrealistic, and partly because even as I do get species I wanted, more will take their place. please add the Golden Lion Tamarin though FrontierBut everyone would disagree on what these missing species are
I mean, from the beginning of the game, someone was setting themselves up for disappointment if they honestly believed that they would get every species they wanted. That just was never going to happen, for anyone, unless someone had a really low level of engagement of what they would want. And even though we've gotten a massive amount of animals, more than most of us ever thought we would, there will always be "more" that just about everyone wants. And that's even taking out things like flying birds and fully marine animals that it was pretty apparent 2 years ago (more for marine animals for me anyways) just weren't gong to happen.Absolutely. Yeah the Facebook announcement doesn't really do it for me; but what does "concern me" is the the update history on SteamDB.I don't get it, why is that a sign of an end?
Yes and no. I mean of course everyone has some favorites that don't seem to be top priorities at the community level, but we can all agree on the fact that there are very popular species that are in nearly everyone's top wishlist. Coati, Tree Kangaroo, Howler Monkey, Musk Ox, Secretary Bird and/or Grey-Crowned Crane... and I only cite those ones because they seem like a real possibility to me. I could add Walrus and Patagonian Mara but I've come to terms with the fact that we probably won't get them. Also, you can add to the list really easy clones that are essential in a zoo game: American Black Bear, Serval, Nile Croc, a Pelican or a Duck. But everyone would disagree on what these missing species are
Very good.what we're seeing here seems to line up with what happened with JWE2.
Idk there are some that are more popular than others and there is a general.consensus on some of them even if not every single one of us care about each of those animals most of us agree that they should have been added to the game: coati, pelican, ducks, american black bear, tree kangaroo, an african crocodile, another african bird, an african monkey, another southamerican primate, etc.But everyone would disagree on what these missing species are
Yeah, I am back at that point as well.Very good.
Bring on the sequel, I say.
I don't really believe there actually is a general consensus. This game has thousands of players. A small handful of forum members repeating the same wishlists ad nauseum does not make for a consensus.Idk there are some that are more popular than others and there is a general.consensus on some of them even if not every single one of us care about each of those animals most of us agree that they should have been added to the game: coati, pelican, ducks, american black bear, tree kangaroo, an african crocodile, another african bird, an african monkey, another southamerican primate, etc.
